It only took one year after jihadist Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez murdered five U.S. service men for the FBI to find out that he had been radicalized for at least a year.
And that he purchased his guns after he was radicalized.
And according to the FBI, people around Abdulazeez “knew he was becoming radicalized before the attack, but failed to report.”
The FBI’s admission confirms:
that CAIR’s campaign to spread suspicion in Muslim communities about the FBI, is working;
that the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) claim that its engagement with state law enforcement somehow “enhanc[es] security for all Tennesseans, is meaningless political noise
that Homeland Security’s “see something say something” has been cleverly undermined by Islamist’s success in sanitizing law enforcement training materials
that just like the neighbor of the San Bernadino jihadis, who saw suspicious activity but didn’t report it, fearing she would be called a racist.
that the red flags raised by state legislators like Rep. Judd Matheny and Sen. Bill Ketron as far back as 2011, have sadly, been validated.
In 2011, and again in 2015, Matheny and Ketron passed laws enhancing Tennessee’s anti-terrorism statute. Shortly after 9-11, most states passed anti-terrorism statutes to ensure that states could prosecute jihadists, if and when federal prosecutors refused.
Matheny recounts that in 2012 he met with Governor Haslam and “others” (Tennessee Department of Homeland Security personnel?) and told them that based on what he knew from both his law enforcement background and work on his anti-terrorism bill, that Tennessee could anticipate a jihadist attack.
Matheny and Ketron’s anti-terrorism material support bill was based on the murder of the Army recruiter in Little Rock by jihadist Carlos Bledsoe who was from Memphis. Carolos had attended a Nashville mosque and with the help from his imam in Nashville, was accepted at a Yemeni school which actually functioned as a training camp for terrorists. Carlos returned from Yemen fully radicalized.
Matheny says that he also warned the Governor “of possible financial activities in Tennessee that were funding Mid East and Tennessee based jihadist activities. Later I submitted to the governor’s office thoroughly researched and documented data of this.”
Haslam told Matheny to apologize to Muslims in Tennessee.
“Our Muslim Neighbor” in Tennessee – The Faith & Culture Center
Daoud Abudiab, founding board member and former chair of American Muslim Advisory Council(AMAC), is also the President and founder of the Tennessee Faith & Culture Center. Abudiab’s Faith & Culture Center has the singular agenda of creating a positive impression of Muslims through his “Our Muslim Neighbor (OMN)” project.
This project comes straight from Religions for Peace USA, an organization itself tied to Muslim Brotherhood organizations. Coming out of the closet in his own way, Abudiab joined the Muslim Brotherhood organizations at the USCMO conference in Washington.
Abudiab’s efforts are abetted by AMAC director Paul Galloway who is also the director of the (Muslim) American Center for Outreach (ACO). Both AMAC and ACO are partner organizations of Abudiab’s FCC.
“Chattanooga One Year Later, a Full Town Hall Roundtable”
You can watch the full video here where panelists Sheriff Hammond, Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, Col. Wayne Rich and full-time Islamist propagandist AMAC/ACO director Paul Galloway discuss the Chattanooga jihad.
Col. Rich said that military recruiters are not any safer a year later.
What was Galloway’s contribution to the discussion? He admits there is a terror problem among Muslims, but not because of their religion. As a political propagandist, he understands that so long as he can keep the focus on Islam as a religion and not Islam as an ideology, he can invoke Islamophobia as needed.
He also says, “get to know your Muslim neighbor” and that “people shouldn’t be afraid of political correctness.”
In other words, you need to know your Muslim neighbor, because unlike members of the Muslim community who have remained silent, you may have to be the one who has to report problematic behavior.
And we’ll remind Galloway about what he said regarding political correctness the next time Islamist activists in Tennessee try to bully questioners into silence.
So go ahead and take Abudiab and Galloway’s directive – ask your Muslim Neighbor if they’re holding back on members of their community like jihadist Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez.
You’ll feel so much safer for it.
On August 29, 2015, Governor Haslam and his delegation traveled to Israel to explore trade opportunities.
In the past Haslam spoke highly of his appointee Samar Ali and her father Subhi Ali. In fact, in response to criticisms regarding the appointment of Samar to the Department of Economic and Community Development, the Governor’s office highlighted her father’s credentials, leaving out all mention of Subhi Ali’s leadership of the anti-Israel Jerusalem Fund.
The Jerusalem Fund, is a pro-Palestinian, organization actively committed to the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) campaign designed to end Israel as a Jewish state; to destroy it by any means possible. A review of the Jerusalem Fund, its founders and their connections, activities and current day governing board members, highlights that they remain committed to turning the U.S. away from its support and alliance with Israel.
Subhi Ali from Waverly, Tennessee, joined the Jerusalem Fund Board in 2000 and has served as Chairman of the Board since 2005.
The founder of the Jerusalem Fund (JF), Hisham Sharabi, endorsed the anti-Israel rhetoric and actions of pro-Palestinian groups like the Muslim Brotherhood HAMAS. Sharabi was succeeded by Subhi Ali who continues to serve as the Chairman of the JF Board.
Sharabi supported any number of criminal organizations such as WISE (World and Islam Studies Enterprise). WISE was started by Sami al-Arian who was also the head of the Islamic Committee for Palestine in the U.S., “the active arm of Islamic jihad movement in Palestine,” the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
The PIJ is alive and well and so is the Jerusalem Fund
In August 2015, Israel’s security forces thwarted PIJ’s planned bombing and shooting attack on Jewish worshippers at Joseph’s Tomb in Samaria. One of the four terrorists is also listed as a HAMAS operative and another, a Palestinian policeman.
Iran is PIJ’s main supporter and supplies the weapons in Gaza, “be they weapons intended for the Hamas movement or for the PIJ.” Iran also sees its goal of destroying Israel consistent with its support of PIJ:
[Iran] also accepts that a base of Iranian missiles be established in the Gaza Strip, and believes that the organizational and military structure of the PIJ is similar to that of Hezbollah…”
The Jerusalem Fund website also posts information briefs suggesting that there are positive aspects to HAMAS. Is this an effort to help legitimize HAMAS regardless of its terrorist designation?
What does Chairman of the Board Subhi Ali say about the Jerusalem Fund’s support for HAMAS or the agenda to destroy Israel?
Does Haslam know his friend Subhi Ali supports terrorists who are dedicated to killing the Jews and wiping Israel off the map?
Maybe on his way back from visiting Israel, Haslam will rethink with whom he chooses to be aligned.
If Bill Gibbons, Bill Killian and Bill Haslam hadn’t elevated Tennessee’s Muslims to a super protected class could the Chattanooga jihad murder have been averted?
Bill Gibbons – Despite the 2009 jihad murder by Memphis native Carlos Bledsoe, Tennessee’s Commissioner of Safety and Homeland Security Bill Gibbons (also from Memphis), took an early lead in obscuring any objective examination of who and what the jihad threat might be in Tennessee:
- 2011 – Bill Gibbons assigned James Cotter to help organize the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) whose founding members openly praise Muslim Brotherhood organizations that “help American Muslims stay true to their religious values while being uniquely American.”
- In 2009 James Cotter was a TNDHS Regional Advisor who said with regard to foreign threats, “anything that they do over there can happen here and will.” [almost like a prediction of Chattanooga]. Not long after helping AMAC organize, Cotter was promoted to the state’s Office of Homeland Security Training Advisor.
- 2011 – AMAC posted these pictures from when they were invited by TNDHS to start training Tennessee safety and homeland security personnel.
- November 2011, Gibbons sent a congratulatory letter to AMAC dated months before his denial of his agency’s involvement with them.
- In early 2012 when asked, Gibbons denied ever having been involved with AMAC – right before his 2011 letter appeared.
- September 2012 – Nashville Somali refugee worker said “she was ready to die for Allah. Further, Abdullahi said that her life starts after death and that she should pick up a gun and ‘shoot all these people,’ referring to her co-workers.”
Bill Killian – In June 2013 Tennessee U.S. Attorney Bill Killian spoke at an AMAC event. He said he would use federal civil rights laws to stop legally permissible hate speech directed at Muslims. The next day Killian disclosed how he planned to promote politically correct speech while suppressing First Amendment rights:
“Hateful statements directed at another will be used as evidence in a hate crime,… Our district has a 96 percent conviction rate…and we’ve never had a conviction overturned for violation of First Amendment.”
- December 2014 – a claimed ISIS related group threatened to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas bridge.
- January 2015 – Cyber Caliphate hacks into “secure” Stewart County, TN server.
- May, 2015 – Nashville Douglas Corner Cafe cyber-hacked with “I am Muslim and I love jihad”
- July 16, 2015 – Jihad murders at two military reserve centers in Chattanooga.
Bill Killian has been assigned the lead position in investigating the Chattanooga jihad murders. Bill Killian has made his Islamist apologist bias public and has a conflict of interest and should recuse himself.
Bill Haslam – the governor of Oklahoma, Mary Fallon DID NOT HESITATE to immediately issue an executive order enabling National Guardsmen to be armed at military facilities. Governors in several other states followed her lead.
With his typical lack of urgency, the best Bill Haslam could do was delay action. First he’s having an inquiry made and then he’ll see about how the state can expedite members of the military getting a state gun carry permit.
Is the Governor aware that the Brentwood mosque where jihadi murderer Abdulazeez prayed while he was working in Franklin, is located right next door to a Marine recruitment center?
What’s the likelihood that any or all of the Three Bills, can put their political correctness and Muslim apologist bias aside to remember that they have a duty to protect all of us, not just Muslim sensitivities?
- 2011 – Commissioner of Safety and Homeland Security Bill Gibbons assigns a staff person to help organize the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) which has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, but in 2012 denies ever having been involved with the group.
- 2011 – AMAC posts pictures from when they were invited by TNDHS to start training Tennessee safety and homeland security personnel.
- 2011 Gibbons sends a congratulatory letter to AMAC dated months before his denial of his agency’s involvement with them.
- 2012 – Muslim worker threatens to kill kaffirs because she’s ready to die for Allah.
- December 2014 – ISIS related group threatens to blow up Memphis-Arkansas bridge.
- January 2015 – Cyber Caliphate hacks into “secure” Stewart County, TN server.
- May, 2015 – Nashville Douglas Corner Cafe cyber-hacked with “I am Muslim and I love jihad”
- Former CAIR director from Texas, Paul “Iesa” Galloway, is now a registered Tennessee lobbyist operating the American Center for Outreach (ACO), the sister organization of AMAC. That’s the same Muslim Brotherhood CAIR that was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the biggest terrorism financing prosecution for raising money and sending it to support HAMAS, a U.S. designated terrorist organization. Nihad Awad, CAIR National Director, Paul Galloway’s former boss and frequent visitor to the Murfreesboro mosque, publicly says he supports HAMAS.
- CAIR has said that Tennessee is one of the most Islamophobic states in the U.S. so expect them to help support former AMAC chair Daoud Abudiab who is planning an Islamophobia conference in September.
- Hamzah Abdul-Malik joins the private Islamic Pleasant View School in Memphis, a school already connected to Muslim Brotherhood affiliates and individuals. He is one more imam brought to Tennessee trained at places like Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Al-Azhar is credited with starting the Islamist movement with training from Islamic radicals, is closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and stands for sharia as a complete way of life and the worldwide domination of Islam. He is close personal friends with super Islamist Zaid Shakir.
- Abdul-Malik is getting ready to open a new “Midtown Mosque” in Memphis. In 2012, he was Chair of Islamic Studies at the Toledo Islamic Academy, a school established by the Masjid Saad, where in 2006, two attendees were arrested on terrorism charges. At the time, the Masjid’s website featured anti-Israel articles and articles supporting the Holy Land Foundation and KindHearts Foundation (incorporated in Toledo) – two Islamic charities shut down by the U.S. government for funding the militant arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, HAMAS.
As to Haslam, he’s too busy promoting Obama’s Common Core, Medicaid Expansion, amnesty for illegal immigrants and keeping his corporate Chamber of Commerce cronies stocked with low-wage refugee sharia-adherent workers, to care about Islamist entrenchment in Tennessee.
Haslam was either willfully or neglectfully blind to the Islamist growth in Knoxville while he was mayor. He defended hiring sharia finance specialist Samar Ali based on “freedom of religion” which just shows how very little he knows or understands about political sharia and the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan.
There are daily reports of Muslim jihadists living in the U.S. who have declared an allegiance to ISIS. The FBI’s Director of Counterterrorism has testified that ISIS suspects can be found in every state including neighboring Georgia and that ISIS is effectively using social media to spread its message and recruitment efforts.
Obama appointed Rashad Hussain as director of the Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications. The problem is Hussain, “is a terror-supporting Islamist who says that terrorists need more, not less, of fundamentalist Islam.” Like most Islamists, Hussain is connected to Muslim Brotherhood affiliates, “has defended known terrorists and is aligned with groups that espouse jihad.”
American Muslims or those Haslam welcomes from overseas; all have the same Mohammed, same Quran, same Sira, same Hadith, same Allah….same sharia law.
When will Tennessee’s apologist and appeasing leadership get serious about the jihad threat?
Since taking office Governor Haslam has tried different ways to leave his mark on improving the health of Tennesseans. He even tried to use his Medicaid Expansion plan “Insure Tennessee” to pay people to get healthy. Haslam said he could use his own healthcare plans to “fundamentally chang[e] health care in Tennessee.” His “Healthy Incentives Plan” envisioned letting people “earn more money” of the free money by taking specific actions to get healthy. Except Medicaid Expansion became another of Haslam’s “reforms” that failed. Now Governor Haslam has launched his “Healthier Tennessee Communities” initiative, “a coordinated initiative supporting physical activity, healthy eating and tobacco abstinence at the local level.” The Governor’s Foundation for Health and Wellness will focus on individuals, workplaces and faith congregations. In addition, the Tennessee Department of Health through their Office of Minority Health and Disparities Elimination, works with faith communities and trains congregants to become “certified Health Ambassadors” who will help make Tennesseans aware of how to lead healthier lifestyles. Being the picture of an “overabundance” of health herself, Nashville resident, Aisha Lbhalla, a member of the Islamic Center of Tennessee (ICTN), has been selected to be one of these Health Ambassadors. Let’s take a close look at Aisha’s mosque. Individuals involved in establishing the ICTN in 2010, included Awadh Binhazim (Secretary of the ICTN Board) who had previously served on the Board at the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) during the time when Abdulhakim Mohamed was the imam there. He had the dubious privilege of being the imam at the al-Qaeda al-Farooq mosque in Brooklyn, New York, the same mosque attended by the “blind sheik” convicted for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Before splitting from the ICN to form the ICTN mosque, Binhazim (a CAIR chapter leader when he lived in Texas), conducted his dawa (proselytizing) through his Olive Tree Education project promoting on-line writings by al-Qaeda’s Anwar Awlaki. During this time he was the self-appointed Muslim “chaplain” at Vanderbilt University. It was in this position that he publicly admitted at a student forum, that Islamic law mandates capital punishment for homosexuality and that “as a Muslim he does not have a choice of whether to accept or reject what Islam teaches.” Did Nashville Mayor Karl Dean know Aisha’s background when he appointed her to the Metro Human Relations Commission? Is he trying to eradicate Nashville’s radical Islamophobia? So Who is Aisha Lbhalla? Various websites align an Aisha Teshara Washington with an Aisha Teshara Lbhalla who lives in Antioch, Tennessee. Aisha Teshara Washington at one time lived at 147 Dreamwood Lane in Dover, Tennessee. This address corresponds to an area in Dover referred to as “Islamville,” the Muslims of America (MoA) compound. MoA aka Jammat ul-Fuqra is a movement founded by the infamous Pakistani Sheik Mubarik Ali Gilani and is described as a “Sunni militant group.” An Aisha Teshara Washington is also listed as having lived in Maryland. Aisha Washington is associated with and/or operated a business in Maryland called “Loving Home Care.” This business ran into some difficulties with the Maryland State Department of Labor Licensing and was sued for failing to pay taxes. The suit was settled for over $8,000. Aisha Lbhalla is associated with and/or operates a business in Antioch, Tennessee called “Loving Home Care” although no business by this name was found in the Tennessee Secretary of State’s database. The website for “Loving Home Care” lists the Main Office contact in Antioch and a contact number for a Maryland, D.C. Virginia office. Wonder why? Like a growing number of sharia observant Muslims, Lbhalla and her husband live in a Habitat for Humanity home located in the Edison Park development in Antioch, Tennessee. The Habitat for Humanity program, a Christian ministry, has ironically become a convenient vehicle to impose the restrictions of sharia finance law to a part of the U.S. housing market. Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Sheikh al-Qaradawi, describes sharia compliant finance as “jihad with money.” Lbhalla serves on the Executive Committee of the Nashville chapter of the Religion Communicators Council’s (RCC), which is led by Scientologist Brian Fessler. The RCC leadership has heavy representation by the United Methodist Church (UMC) which makes it highly unlikely that they would find Lbhalla’s anti-Israel tweets problematic for a group that is supposed to be an interfaith association.
The first imam at Lbhalla’s mosque was AbdulRahman ibn Esa Chao. He was trained at the Islamic University of Medinah, Saudi Arabia, an institution highly associated with the Salafi branch of Sunni Islam. Salafists have been described as trying to return Sunni Muslims to the “practice of the pious ancestors, i.e., the first three generations of Muslims.” That is, they seek to practice Islam in its most original, purest and “authentic” form without relying on cultural practices or clerical interpretations. Does this mean that reformation or moderation is out of the question? Probably so. Too bad our elected leadership is so gullible.
Is Nashville “Music City, USA” or “Little Kurdistan” – you decide.
Nashville Mayor Karl Dean said the needs of “new Americans” were a top priority, so he established the city’s Office of New Americans:
“The number of foreign-born residents in Nashville has more than doubled over the past decade. And today our city is the proud home of the nation’s largest Kurdish population, as well as growing enclaves of immigrants from Somalia, Sudan and all over the world.”
Mayor Dean refers to the two out of three groups that have brought political Islam and sharia law to Nashville; Kurds and Somalis. They have been brought to Nashville through the federal refugee resettlement program.
Immigrants – turned – advocates talk about “Nashville for all of us” but instead choose to live like the Mayor’s office said, in enclaves. They complain about being treated as “the other,” but through self-segregation, guard against assimilating into and adapting to the American culture.
When they self-segregate its called preserving their culture. When native-born Tennesseans self-segregate, it’s called racism.
Kurdish Islamist agitator Remziya Suleyman whines endlessly about being thought of as “the other.” However, she was quick to appropriate Nashville’s generous spirit for her community’s political purposes, calling it “Little Kurdistan.”
Drost Kokoye, an activist Nashville’s Kurdish activist community, is known for her Jew-hatred and pro-Hamas politics. She worked in Suleyman’s organization, TIRRC, the ACLU and helped establish and is a board member of the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC). She’s now at UTKnoxville where she agitates with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and has led pro-Ferguson rallies.
Ironically, Drost’s mother is a Parent Ambassador to new immigrant families as part of Mayor Dean’s Office for New Americans, even while her daughter Drost doesn’t want to be called a “new American” or even an “American.”
Enclaves in Tennessee?
Early on, the federal policy for resettling refugees advised scattering them across the country as a way to disperse the impact on receiving communities. In 1981 the federal government reversed this practice and instead started placing refugees of similar ethnic groups in the same area. Today, migration patterns upon arrival in the U.S. either for jobs, welfare benefits or to join an established ethnic community, help fuel the growth of the enclaves described by Mayor Dean.
There are enclaves like the Muslims of American (MoA) compound in Stewart County, Tennessee.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says Muslims of America (MoA) is linked to the Jamaat ul-Fuqra Pakistani militant group.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) describes MoA as “virulently anti-Semitic,” attributed also with anti-Christian and anti-American rhetoric and tied to “a terrorist organization that has carried out firebombings and murders in the United States.”
There is also evidence of enclaves in the U.S. governed by sharia law.
Importing sharia law and terrorism into the U.S. via Islamic enclaves
According to a Pew Research survey,, “the estimated share of legal Muslim immigrants entering the U.S. each year has roughly doubled, from about 5 percent of legal immigrants in 1992 to about 10 percent in 2012.” The Obama administration has helped accelerate this increase. Legal immigration in the form of refugee resettlement contributes to this growth.
A 2012 poll found that 40% of Muslims living in the U.S. want to be governed by sharia law and 32% want sharia to govern all Americans. Almost half surveyed said “Americans who offer criticism or parodies of Islam should face criminal charges,” while “one in eight” called instead for the death penalty.
Where will this take our Nation?
Because of the U.S. refugee resettlement and asylum program, and Washington’s refusal to stop importing people from terror-sponsoring countries, we have experienced the Boston marathon bombing, the Portland Christmas tree bombing threat, and the New York Times Square bomb threat, to name a few.
How did two Iraqi refugees get to Kentucky when their fingerprints were on an IED that killed five soldiers in Iraq? Because our security screening is lax two jihadis and their radical Islamist ideology, were brought to the U.S. as refugees. Watch the video clip about the case.
In December 2013, liberal California Democrat Sen. Diane Feinstein spoke about the Islamic terrorist threat to the U.S.. She acknowledged that there is a, “real displaced aggression in this very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community, and that is that the West is responsible for everything that goes wrong and that the only thing that’s going to solve this is Islamic sharia law and the concept of the caliphate.”
Sen. Feinstein suggests a connection between jihadists and sharia law.
The Tie Between Minneapolis and Nashville – “Little Mogadishu”
The vast majority of Somalis living in the U.S. have been brought by federal contractors paid by the U.S. refugee resettlement program; 9,000 in 2014 and over 2,800 so far in 2015.
The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood in Minneapolis is called “Little Mogadishu” because it has the largest concentration of Somali Muslims living in the U.S. In August 2014, mainstream media also referred to it as “fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters.” The report cited at least 40 residents who went to fight with ISIS, a pattern similar to the Minneapolis Somalis who joined al-Shabaab in 2013.
The Somali community complained to the Secretary of Home Land Security that their young men had no jobs, nor training or economic opportunity or “an appropriate place to live.” This is why they became “disillusioned and influenced by terrorist organizations” and then leave to go fight with ISIS.
How does this explain the FBI’s newest “Most Wanted Terrorist” a Somali who became a naturalized U.S. citizen through the refugee resettlement program. He drove a taxi cab in D.C. and Virginia while he was recruiting for terrorists.
So, the Obama administration agreed to spend millions of dollars for job training and after-school activities.
The Somali enclave Mayor Dean admires comes with a Somali gang problem. This also connects Minneapolis and Nashville in ways the Mayor likely never envisioned as the price his city would pay for its Somali enclave. Part of Somali gang activity includes human sex trafficking and prostitution. The largest Somali sex trafficking ring which operated out of Minneapolis, Nashville and few other cities, was prosecuted in the federal courthouse in Nashville.
“Little Kurdistan” – Another Nashville Islamist Enclave
Since 2007, federal contractors have been paid to bring approximately 200,000 Iraqis to the U.S.. Catholic Charities brought the first Kurds to Nashville in 1976. They were joined by some Iranian Kurds and then Kurds fleeing Saddam Hussein’s regime.
Between refugee resettlement and “secondary migration” (resettling in one place and moving to another), Nashville has the largest Kurdish community in the U.S. The number is estimated at about 11,000. Their mosque is the Salahadeen Center.
Programs like Nashville Public Television’s series titled “Next Door Neighbors,” just like the “Welcome to Shelbyville” detailing the arrival of Somalis to the town, go to great lengths to characterize these refugees as “hardworking and grateful” to be in this country.
In 2007, the Kurdish Pride Gang (KPG) which grew out of the Nashville refugee Kurdish enclave, shined a different spotlight on the Kurdish community. Police described gang members as “increasingly vicious and brazen.” Gang experts warn that gangs made up of people that come from war-torn countries pose a “unique problem” because they are desensitized to violence and dismissive of authority.
As of 2012, Metro police used a new tactic to break the KPG gang. A judge ruled the gang a public nuisance and issued an injunction that prevents the gang from gathering together in public places.
What the propaganda pieces don’t disclose is that most of the pro-Islamist activism has been initiated and led by members of the Nashville Kurdish community actively abetted by Nashville’s Somali community.
For example, shortly after launching the American Center for Outreach (ACO), Remziya Suleyman aligned her organization with Muslim Brotherhood CAIR. Suleyman brought CAIR to Nashville to train young Muslims in advocating for political Islam. She mentors them in leading a sharia-adherent lifestyle despite admitting “she never knew the concept of sharia.” She has ceded leadership of ACO to former CAIR-Houston director, Paul “Iesa” Galloway.
ACO’s Civic Engagement Coordinator, Drost Kokoye, another member from the Kurdish community helped start the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) and to organize and lead anti-Israel rallies in Nashville. Kurdish Islamist Jihan Abdullah worked for ACO, while her sister Kasar, serves on the AMAC board.
Can Mayor Karl Dean explain again why we should be excited about these enclaves in Nashville?
Drost Kokoye is an Islamist agitator with groups like the far left TIRRC (TN Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition), the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC), and the American Center for Outreach (ACO). She is one of Nashville’s most vocal Jew-haters, (here, here and here), and was central to organizing and leading pro-Hamas rallies this past summer.
Her mother Bayan Kokoye, (pictured above) is now part of Nashville Mayor Karl Dean’s new public school parent ambassador program. These parents will help indoctrinate new immigrant families into asserting their rights in the school district and the larger community.
According to Drost, her mother’s example, has taught her how to publicly protest against any perceived injustice.
In 2013, Bayan Kokoye took her husband and Drost to New York to say “byebye” to N.Y. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. Islamists had a particular disdain for Ray Kelly because of his vigilant surveillance of Islamic radicals after 9-11.
Apple and the Tree
Drost is currently a student at UT Knoxville, working with the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim Student Association (MSA). (It is rumored that she wants to go to law school and be like her CAIR idol Zahra Billoo with whom she trades anti-Jew tweets.)
At UTK, Drost has tried to find an opportunity to use the “Muslim victimhood” narrative to build a coalition of those who see themselves oppressed by big, bad, white Americans.
Ferguson was a double whammy, tailor-made for the anti-American and Jew-hating Drost. CAIR- linked “Muslims for Ferguson” Islamists likened the shooting of Michael Brown to the 2009 fatal shooting of radical Islamist Luqman Abdullah during an FBI raid. Jew-haters also took advantage of the Ferguson protests:
Drost followed suit acting as spokesman for a Ferguson protest at UT Knoxville.
Now that Drost is in Knoxville her mom Bayan can focus on training new immigrant parents. Will the issue be removing all pork products from school cafeterias in deference to Muslim dietary law like they did in St. Paul, Minnesota? Or demand halal food in the cafeterias? Maybe she’ll work to expand Muslim Student Associations in high schools like the one at MLK Magnet in Nashville. (MSAs help develop Islamist agitators in high school and in other schools have enabled students to convert to Islam without their parents knowing).
Or Bayan can go for the real prize and have the school district do the dawa and Muslim conversions for her like they are doing in Maryland public schools where students learn the shahada, the Islamic conversion prayer, and affirm that there is no god but allah.
So, what kind of Parent Ambassador will Bayan Kokoye be? Did she teach Drost this:
Let’s hope these new immigrants listen instead to Americans who value the freedoms we have in this country.
