Newsletter #197 – Nashville Jewish Leftists Partner with BDS Proponents Against Islamophobia

Islamophobia” was invented by the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT), a Muslim Brotherhood front organization. The term as confirmed by former insider Abdur-Rahman Muhammad is specifically intended to suppress any criticism of Islam and Muslims – even those that commit violent jihad.

The IIIT was part of a 5 year terrorism financing investigation for its questionable ties to terrorist groups and for being the largest monetary donor to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group. The IIIT’s deceit of Islamophobia erodes our First Amendment speech rights and facilitates violent jihad.

The neighbor of the San Bernadino jihadis who saw suspicious activity didn’t report it fearing she would be called a racist.

Jewish leftists in Nashville believe they are the David to the Goliath of Islamophobia

In December 2015, shortly after the November Paris jihad, Rabbi Mark Schiftan, Nashville Jewish community’s leading Muslim apologist, rushed to join Nashville’s ultra-progressive leftists Mayor Megan Barry in a public show of solidarity against Islamophobia and the phantom hate crimes it allegedly inspires. Schiftan was joined by other Nashville rabbis including Shana Mackler, Joshua Kullock and Joshua Barton.

barry islamophobia 2

The real joke is on Schiftan, the other rabbis and the Jewish social justice warriors that followed him, because the Muslim Brotherhood creators of Islamophobia also promote BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions) against Israel. Does the senior rabbi of The Temple in Nashville even care that the goal of BDS is to end Israel as Jewish state? Does he understand that the anti-Israelism of BDS is the 20th century’s new anti-Semitism?

Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the Palestine Boycott National Committee says that Palestinian right of return, a demand made by BDS promoters, would mean “youd have a Palestine next to a Palestine.” It would end Israel as a Jewish state.

Hatem Bazian, founder and chairman of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), has formally joined with named Muslim Brotherhood organizations to form the U.S. Council on Muslim Organizations (USCMO).

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), describes AMP as “anti-Semitism under the guise of educating Americans about the just cause of Palestine and the rights of self-determination.”

AMP’s first conference in 2006 featured several former Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) leaders including Osama Abu Irshaid (IAP board member and now AMP and USCMO board member) who speaking at an SJP event, told his audience that he considers firing rockets from Gaza into Israel “legitimate resistance.” IAP served as a U.S. based propaganda outlet for HAMAS.  Nihad Awad and Omar Awad, both former IAP officials, started CAIR.  Nihad Awad, who publicly voiced his support for HAMAS is a founding member of USCMO.

AMP helps train and support Student for Justice in Palestine activists to bring the BDS message to college campuses.  SJP’s 2002 national convention was sponsored by the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), with guest speaker Sami al-Arian. AMP’s collaboration with Sami al-Arian, the head of the Palestine Islamic Jihad brings a certain irony to the issue of Islamophobia.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) has also joined forces with the USCMO and individual USCMO organizations including AMP. In fact, ISNA has actively promoted AMP and its BDS agenda. ISNA’s Secretary General has been a repeat speaker at AMP conferences and AMP founder Hatem Bazian has spoken at ISNA conferences since ISNA has its own long history of Jew hatred and ISNA leaders supporting BDS campaigns.

Does Schiftan realize he is surrounded?

Samar Ali, a Metro Nashville Human Rights Commissioner also attended the December Muslim solidarity event. Samar’s father, Subhi Ali has served as the Chairman of the Jerusalem Fund (JF) since 2005. The founder of the Jerusalem Fund, Hisham Sharabi, endorsed the anti-Israel rhetoric and actions of pro-Palestinian groups like the Muslim Brotherhood HAMAS.

In keeping with the JF’s anti-Israel advocacy, it’s director from 2009 – 2015, Yousef Munayyer openly advocated for BDS. Munayyer left the JF to become the Executive Director of the U.S. Campaign to End the Occupation another organization listed among the Anti-Defamation Leagues Top 10 Anti-Israel Groups in America.

On September 14, 2015, the Jerusalem Fund’s new Director, Zeina Azzam, hosted the program titled “Building the BDS Movement for Justice in Palestine.”

Schiftan’s Temple past president Bernard Werthan is also a board member of Daoud Abudiab’s Faith and Culture Center (FCC). Abudiab tries hard to portray himself as an interfaither with the singular agenda of creating a positive impression of Muslims through his “Our Muslim Neighbor” a project of Religions for Peace USA, an organization itself tied to Muslim Brotherhood organizations. Coming out of the closet in his own way, Abudiab joined the Muslim Brotherhood organizations at the USCMO conference in Washington.

Maybe Abudiab senses that jihad apologists like Schiftan agree that Israel has wronged the Palestinians and can understand why an intifada, a Palestinian uprising (like the Palestinian suicide bombers who massacred innocent Israelis in the Sbarro pizza restaurant), is justified. Regardless, Abudiab is now showing his anti-Israelism:

daoud facebook

Islamist Jew-haters like Hisham Sharabi, founder of the Jerusalem Fund and supporter of “radical Palestinian terror groups” understood how gullible American leftist progressives are.  He predicted that the intifada followed by a BDS campaign would be supported by “progressive Jewish forces in Israel and the United States…[any group] enlisted in the ‘progressive’ cause of the Palestinian Arabs – why not, anyone ‘progressive’ enough to embrace Hamas…is someone useful to Israel’s enemies.”

Newsletter #195 – Christians Advocate for Israel while Jews in Nashville Support Its Enemies

PJTN (Proclaiming Justice to the Nations), CUFI (Christians United for Israel) and Tennessee’s state legislators like Judd Matheny and Sheila Butt, pass strong pro-Israel resolutions.

Meanwhile, political leftists seem to dominate the organized Jewish community in Nashville, Tennessee. Despite over 100 knife attacks on Jews in Israel, no matter how many calls for another intifada, no matter how many Jewish children are murdered while sleeping in their beds, politically left American Jews and their leadership, stand with the jihadist murderers.

fogel children

(Fogel children murdered by jihadists: 11 year old Yoav, 4 year old Elad and a three month old infant girl, Hadas)

The rabbis in Nashville even have a slogan that justifies this resolve – “We may be opponents, we need not be enemies.” Even local Islamists whose group members emulate the language and values of HAMAS can get this rabbinical absolution. The leftist leadership extends the same olive branch to the anti-Israel, pro-BDS Nashville start-up chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), a group that puts politics before support for the Jewish biblical homeland.

JVP is an anti-Zionist Jewish hate group that collaborates with and stands in solidarity with other anti-Israel hate groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). Not surprisingly, JVP and SJP spewed from the same UC Berkley campus.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, JVP pushes ending U.S. aid to Israel, agitates both on and off college campuses using the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) campaign, the goal of which is to end Israel as a Jewish state. BDS embeds its objectives in language about social justice and human rights in order to deceive people who have a conscience.

Temple member and Alinsky disciple Pat Halper, is helping JVP to grow a Nashville chapter.

halperjvp

Halper, a member of The Temple (Congregation Ohabai Shalom led by Islamist fictionalist rabbi Mark Schiftan), is an extreme political leftist drawn to neo-Marxist organizations like Saul Alinsky’s first Nashville project called “Tying Nashville Together (TNT)” where she served as a board member. Once TNT flopped, many of its members moved on to NOAH (Nashville Organized for Action and Hope). Halper joined NOAH’s Executive Committee. She also chaired the social justice committee at The Temple.

Halper’s alignment with Israel’s enemies began long before Nashville’s JVP start-up. On July 13, 2011, the first Nashville Family of Abraham(FoA) event was held at the University School of Nashville.  Predictably, Halper was part of a large host committee joining her fellow Temple congregant, Bernard Werthan who is credited with getting the the Nashville FoA started.

TCPJ has written extensively about the red-green alliance, the Nashville FoA group and its connection to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. Werthan is heavily invested in FoA which could explain why he also donated to the New Israel Fund (NIF), which finances several groups that push the BDS campaign against Israel.

pat halper

The reality is that Family of Abraham events feature Muslim speakers and others who counsel attendees about how everyone should want to get closer to Muslims in their communities because they are only different branches of the same family tree.  The subtext of the meetings is Muslim victimhood and, by analogy, the same for their Middle Eastern brethren, the Arab Muslim Palestinians.

Supporting JVP lets Halper claim that unlike other Jews, she doesn’t automatically side with Israel. Progressive social justice Jews can look at the conflict and draw moral equivalences between Israeli civilians and Arab terrorists. JVP is also an antedote for Alinskyites like Halper whose white privilege lets her live in an expensive Green Hills neighborhood and send her kids to expensive private schools.

Or, maybe Halper is just trying to follow the example of her rabbi – every progressive interfaither should be able to say “one of my best friends is Muslim.”

Newsletter #190 -When “Social Justice” Replaces the Religion

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society announced that they will drop the word “Hebrew” and go simply by “HIAS.” They are one of the national federal refugee resettlement contractors screaming for Obama to admit at least 200,000 Syrian refugees regardless of valid security and cost concerns. HIAS and the other resettlement industry contractors have criticized Obama’s measly 10,000 Syrians that he has begun bringing to the U.S. This number of 10,000 is on top of the 70,000 plus of the mostly-sharia-compliant refugees from Islamic America-hating countries.

HIAS, like all resettlement businesses whose revenue is overwhelimingly government money, try to camouflage their extreme political leftism using religious organizational labels. They claim a moral superiority because “they save lives.”

HIAS is supported in its efforts by the extreme leftist Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), whose president, Rabbi Rick Jacobs, has endorsed Obama’s decision to admit Syrian refugees.

The URJ also supports “Free Choice in Abortion.”

The URJ has a political arm called the Religious Action Center (RAC) whose work and policy positions are “mandated” by the URJ and the various arms of the Reform Jewish movement. The Nashville Temple Ohabai Sholom in Nashville, is a Reform Jewish congregation and a member of the URJ, a recipient of URJ grant money, and as the Temple’s rabbi Shana Mackler says, is a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood.

The Temple is led by senior rabbi Mark Schiftan who shares the URJ’s love of Muslim Islamists. URJ’s immediate past president, rabbi Eric Yoffe, was one of the first Jewish leaders to speak at the annual ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) convention. ISNA was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood’s first U.S. organization, the Muslim Students Association (MSA). ISNA was also named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial for financing the terrorist group HAMAS. HAMAS, a U.S. designated terrorist organization, the jihadist arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, is dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

Rabbi Schiftan says that Islamists who support the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS, are not enemies, just “opponents.” So the Murfreesboro mosque hosting HAMAS supporters like CAIR executive director Nihad Awad and senior Muslim Brotherhood leader and unindicted co-conspirator Jamal Badawi, was not reason enough to keep Schiftan from hauling his congregation to a mosque love-fest. Nor is the fundamentalism of imams trained at Al Ahzar University, the preeminent teaching center of sharia law, enough to keep Schiftan from looking for every public opportunity to validate an ideology focused on destroying Israel.

Yoffe has called John Hagee, an extremist. Hagee is the leader of CUFI (Christians United for Israel), one of Israel’s largest allies and advocates in the U.S. Leftists like Yoffe, and his “Torah of Liberalism” puts support for gays and abortion above sincere and impactful advocacy for the Jewish ancestral homeland.

Abbie Wolf, the Nashville Jewish Federation’s director of the Community Relations Council, shares Yoffe’s pro-Muslim bias and Christianophobia. In advance of a Nashville visit by CUFI’s Executive Director, Wolf published a piece titled “Christian Zionism – do the Concerns Outweigh the Benefits?” She says that the only real value Christian Zionist lovers of Israel bring to the table, is their large voting bloc and their money.

Like Yoffe, Wolf denounces Christian lovers of Israel because they don’t equally love Islamists like HAMAS and other Muslim Brotherhood followers.

Islamist ideology is obsessed with the destruction of Jews and Israel. Do political leftists who actively deny and abet the Islamist plan even deserve to call themselves Jews?

Newsletter #188 – Islamophobia Makes Tennessee Unsafe (part 4 of 4)

The Tennessee September renamed Islamophobia conference

Islamist activist Daoud Abudiab’s Faith and Culture Center originally planned on holding an Islamophobia conference on September 26, 2015 but renamed it after the Chattanooga jihadist murders. Pushing the idea that the Chattaooga jihadist’s actions had nothing to do with Muslims or Islam, the event is now called “Our Muslim Neighbor: Creating a Community of Inclusion in Middle Tennessee.”

Muslim convert Ingrid Mattson is one of the keynote speakers. She is a professor of Islamic Studies at Huron University College in Ontario Canada. She was the director of the MacDonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at Hartford Seminary in Connecticut as Director of Islamic Chaplaincy.

Mattson

Mattson

Mattson’s resume also includes positions with several major named Muslim Brotherhood organizations named as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism prosecution for providing money to HAMAS.

The Faith and Culture Center (FCC) says it pursues “coexistence between people of faith and diverse cultures of the world.” Given the FCC’s use of interfaith activities to achieve its mission and vision, Mattson is at best, a questionable choice for speaker.

Mattson is not a credible interfaith partner

Even though the FCC’s sole focus is to promote “Our Muslim Neighbor,” the board is designed to reflect interfaith support for this mission by including a Jew and Christians. Board member Rev. Montgomery was part of a program at the Hartford Seminary during Mattson’s tenure. Mattson requires her Seminary students to read the works of the jihadists Sayyid Qutb and Syed Abu’l-`Ala Mawdudi.

In 2006 Mattson became the first female and first Muslim convert, to serve as president of the Muslim Brotherhood’s ISNA (Islamic Society of North America).

ISNA was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood’s first U.S. organization, the Muslim Students Association (MSA). ISNA was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial for financing the terrorist group HAMAS.

HAMAS is dedicated to the destruction of Israel and is a U.S. designated terrorist organization.

ISNA is not a credible organization for interfaith initiatives. The following Quaranic sura that was posted on ISNA’s website, and eventually deleted (but screen shot saved) says:

O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

Mattson works to create divisiveness between Jews and Christians, particularly Christians who support Israel. In a 2007 speech at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, she warned Jews that “right wing Christians are very risky allies for American Jews” because the “[Christians] are really anti-semitic. They do not like Jews.”

The other conference speakers

  • Reverend Richard Cizik – co-founded the New Evangelical Partnership for the Common Good after he was removed as the chief lobbyist for the National Association of Evangelicals presumably for his far left positions on a variety of issues. Predictably, he supports the narrative that groups like the Faith and Culture Center and the Muslim Brotherhood promote, that the “American Muslim” is different than the Muslims “over there.”
  • Major General Douglass Stone (retired) – well known for his work in promoting the rehabilitation of convicted violent extremist terrorists so they can return to their previous life style. He feels strongly that these violent but Islamically “moderate” individuals, many of whom he says only have ties to militants for financial, not ideological reasons, should not be punished, should be separated from the true jihadis, and provided a “program of proper care and custody, family involvement, religious teachings with moderate Islamic clerics…” Under his command, this experimental system was tried at the detention Camp Bucca in Iraq. Now in 2015, “[f]ormer Bucca prisoners are now throughout the IS leadership.”

Will Abudiab use the Tennessee 2014 hate crimes to show Islamophobia in Tennessee?

For the first time in several years, there were more anti-Muslim hate crimes than anti-Jewish hate crimes:

crime chart

Hate crimes motivated by ANY bias are deplorable but it is important to assess the nature of the reported hate crime to understand whether and what it implies. For example, the one 2014 anti-Jewish hate crime was for simple assault which in Tennessee is minor bodily injury. Five of the anti-Muslim crimes were for vandalism and one for intimidation.

Muslim fabricated mosque vandalism is trending in Europe and the U.S.. CAIR’s San Francisco radical executive director, Zahra Billoo says Muslims need to report anything they think could be a hate crime or even an “incident.” She says incidents can add up so she can justify her anti- American, anti-non-Muslim and anti-Republican propaganda.

Islamists trying to exploit the Islamophobia label rush to assume that every Muslim murder victim was the act of an Islamophobe, even when it isn’t. Even the murder of the three Muslim students has not been proven to be an anti-Muslim hate crime by local law enforcement, nor did prosecutors argue this when asking for the death penalty for the first degree murder crime.

************

Considering that:

  • the Associated Press has eliminated the term “Islamophobia” from its stylebook, the media “bible” to guide accuracy in reporting, and,
  • the term “Islamophobia” is nothing more than name-calling designed to suppress any criticism of Islam and Muslims, and,
  • the term was invented specifically for this purpose by a Muslim Brotherhood front organization, the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT) an organization investigated for being the largest monetary donor to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group, and,
  • in light of the Texas shooting and the Chattanooga jihadist murders and the recent exhortation in the Islamic State’s English magazine that Muslims in the West should be “inspired” by the shooting,

The Faith and Culture Center should be held responsible for any harm resulting from the inspiration they provide to attendees to further the propaganda of Islamophobia.

Will the Faith and Culture Center and ACO’s use of Islamophobia to silence critics provoke the jihadis just like it did in Garland, Texas and Chattanooga?

As a practical matter, the Tennessee Department of Homeland Security should be required to consider the very real and serious security risk this gratuitous conference poses to Tennesseans and the state’s elected leadership.

Leftists and Islamists: The Red-Green Alliance Points ISIS Sympathizers To Tennessee Targets

In November 2014, Georgetown University’s Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU and the Muslim Brotherhood’s Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), co-hosted a meeting called “Canaries in a Coal Mine: How Islamophobia Threatens Us All.”

canary

Who and what is the ISPU?

The ISPU was founded in Detroit by Muslims shortly after 9-11. It opened a D.C. office in 2010 to have easier access to politicians. ISPU describes itself as a “non-partisan and independent think tank and research organization..” even though Obama appointee, Dalia Mogahed, ISPU Director of Research blames Republicans for Islamophobia. (more on Dalia in Part 3.)

ISPU’s list of “scholars” includes Jew-hater Hatem Bazian, Muqtedar Khan who is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood’s IIIT (International Institute on Islamic Thought), Arsalan Iftikhar CAIR’s former national legal director, and Sherman Jackson whose Muslim Brotherhood ties are well documented.

Recent ISPU “research” targets Republican legislators and this “research” is being used to convince the leftists at the November meeting, to ally with Islamists living in the U.S. Since when is the red-green alliance “non-partisan?”

Very little public information is available about who actually started and funded the ISPU, but its 2002 Form 990 lists Iltefat Hamzavi as a Financial Director who signed the 990. Hamzavi’s Foundation’s 990 shows $6,500 directed to the ISPU in 2012 along with donations to the Muslim Brotherhood’s ISNA and Mercy-USA. Hamzavi is listed as the ISPU Board Chairman in its 2013 annual report.

The ACMCU/ ISPU Targeting Meeting

The November meeting’s moderator was Dalia Mogahed, a defender of Muslim Brotherhood groups like CAIR. She was an Obama appointee to his Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

The ACMCU/ISPU event highlighted self-serving “research” on Islamophobia “and its connection to bigotry targeting other communities.” Participants and promoters of this effort are banking on America becoming a minority-majoritycountry by 2050 (fueled by illegal immigration and refugee resettlement?) This meeting was designed to cement the Left (women, gays, illegal immigrants, etc), the Black community, and the Muslim community together in a liaison of victimhood.

In March, ING (Islamic Networks Group of which Tennessee AMAC is an affiliate), leader Maha ElGenaidi and ISPU’s Dalia Mogahed held a private research briefing in San Jose and described the ISPU “research” this way:

The research examines Islamophobia by studying state-level anti-rights legislative efforts and their connection to bigotry targeting other communities and the eventual demographic shift to a “majority-minority” population by the year 2050. (emphasis added)

The ISPU decided that state-level legislation in these subject areas was evidence of bigotry:

  • abortion
  • anti-immigration
  • anti-sharia
  • LGBTQ
  • right to work
  • voter ID

Aping the language of the left, ElGenaidi and Mogahed said the goal was for “change agents..to empower and inform collective action.” Tying the global jihadist movement to the Left, whose actual goals are antithetical to Islamic doctrine, just shows how insidious and insincere the Islamists’ intentions really are. CAIR-Michigan’s Director Dawoud Walid said it best:

dawud on gays

This raises legitimate questions about Islamists like Mwafaq Aljabarry whose Democrat voting history didn’t prevent him from running in the Tennessee Republican primary for a State House seat as an alleged conservative. And, there is Mohamed Elibiary who claims that his calling to reform the conservative movement before the 2016 election is the reason he left his position with the Department of Homeland Security.

Lobbyist “voice of Tennessee Muslims” Paul “Iesa” Galloway is also busy promoting himself as a states’ rights conservative 10th Amendment Republican just like his Muslim Brotherhood-supporting mentor Mohamed Elibiary.

ISPU Targets State Legislators

Using radical leftist Alinsky tactics, the ISPU collated its “research” into an interactive map targeting certain elected officials. Did they consider that recent examples of Leftist violence may have put the targeted legislators at serious risk of bodily harm? Do they even care?

IPSU map copy

For example, the ACMCU and the ISPU are aided in targeting Islamophobes by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

The SPLC (assets of over $250 million), according to their “research,” lists the Family Research Council (FRC) as a “hate group.” In 2012, a SPLC follower said that this report inspired him to shoot the security guard at the FRC offices as part of his plan to “kill as many as possible.” Following the shooting, the SPLC posted “FRC Deserves ‘hate group’ label” which was the SPLC’s justification for targeting the group despite the shooting.

The SPLC has also published a dossier on Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. In June 2013, a mob of leftist pro-illegal immigration agitators trespassed on his private home property in an effort to intimidate and retaliate against him for enforcing the Kansas’ voter registration law that requires proof of citizenship.

************

Saul Alinsky made leftist radicalism a profession. He created a school to train radicals and wrote a curriculum called Rules for Radicals. He said there were no hard and fast truths, no moral or ethical considerations that should guide a radical’s demands. Nor were there hard and fast rules about how radicals should go about getting demands met. Alinsky wrote:

“The third rule of ethics of means and ends is that in war the end justifies almost any means.

Leftists have a dense history of political violence with the more recent examples of Ferguson and Baltimore’s burning, looting and shootings.

The jihadists and the Left are more natural allies than anyone ever realized.

Newsletter #168a – How the Muslim Brotherhood Operates in Tennessee (part 6a of 8)

Islamist Political Action Groups – Fellow Travelers

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)

In 2013, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) announced its status as an official student organization at UT-Knoxville.  In April 2015, Vanderbilt University Ingram Scholar Hytham al-Hindi posted the SJP Vanderbilt chapter. With about 100 chapters at last count, SJP organizes extreme hate-filled anti-Israel activity on college campuses around the country.

The SJP organization was started by Hatem Bazian at Berkley who was formerly the MSA president. He was also a fundraising speaker for Kindhearts, a HAMAS front closed by the US government. Bazian also founded and chairs the national extremist anti-Israel organization American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) which helps train and support SJP activists.  SJP’s 2002 national convention was sponsored by the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), with guest speaker Sami al-Arian.

SJP’s 2014 national convention keynote speaker was UTK alumnus, Rev. Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou who is also involved with the BDS campaign against Israel.

SJP chapters are the primary activists pushing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns against Israel. They also hold “Israel Apartheid Week” on campuses and work to disrupt pro-Israel campus events.

Family of Abraham (FoA)

The FoA is a red-green interfaith alliance active in Middle Tennessee. Members of Nashville’s Jewish community are prominent in FoA serving on its events host committee, along with leftist mainstream Protestant and Roman Catholic churches. One of their early events featured Muslim Brotherhood ISNA’s Sayyid Syeed even though ISNA’s leadership support the BDS campaign against Israel.

Faith and Culture Center (FCC)

The newest addition to the Middle Tennessee area started by former AMAC founder and chair, Daoud Abudiab. A primary focus of the FCC is to promote the program “Our Muslim Neighbor.”

Our Muslim Neighbor” is a project of Religions for Peace USA (RFPUSA) which is tied to Islamist Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the U.S.. “Our Muslim Neighbor” is “designed to advance understanding of Islam and Muslims in Middle Tennessee, a region identified by CAIR and the Marxist Center for American Progress, as “one of the most Islamophobic areas in America.”

FCC Executive Director, Rev. Robert Montgomery, is a social justice community organizer.

The FCC is planning to hold a fall conference devoted to “Islamophobia.”

The FCC’s “Our Muslim Neighbor” also partners with the El-Hibri Foundation funded by the El-Hibri family whose father Ibrahim was a devout Muslim. The El-Hibri Foundation website features a talk by Islamist extremist Sherman Jackson.
