Newsletter #140 – Do They Think Hamas Is Playing a Game?

Opponents play games. Enemies, like Hamas, want to kill Jews.

Nashville’s Reform Rabbis Mark Schiftan, Shana Mackler, Phillip “Flip” Rice, Laurie Rice, Rami Shapiro and Imam Bahloul (Islamic Center of Murfreesboro), have issued the following statement:

statement

Hiding in their cushy offices, these rabbis use lofty words to trivialize Hamas’ vow to wipe Israel and Jews off the map. Do they want us to believe that Jews being attacked “over there” is a “Middle East conflict” unrelated to Jews who live here? These rabbis pontificate from the safety of their temples unlike Jews in kibbutz Nahal Oz where Hamas jihadists emerged from a tunnel and killed the Israeli soldiers that had been guarding them.

The rabbis say this conflict shouldn’t alienate Jews from their Muslim friends that support Hamas and their Christian friends that advocate for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel.

They say Jews should not cast a negative eye toward groups like Jewish Voice for Peace, ranked by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) among the top 10 “worst of the worst anti-Israel groups. After all, fellow Jews that demonize Israel’s self-defense, advocate BDS and freely lend their Jewish cover to legitimate Israel’s aggressors shouldn’t be “dehumanized” just because they have a different opinion about the future of Israel.

If the end goal is to destroy the Jewish homeland and kill all the Jews, what difference does it make whether you are an enemy or an opponent? For these rabbis it’s all about moral equivalence anyway because we are all the same, aren’t we?

The Rabbis’ Friends Who Support Hamas

None of the Tennessee imams or so-called “moderate” Muslims whose attentions the rabbis crave, have ever spoken publicly against the terrorist Hamas organization, not even when Hamas broke their word and violated agreed upon cease-fires with Israel. But, co-signer, Imam Bahloul has welcomed the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR-Hamas into his mosque.

CAIR (started by leaders of IAP – Islamic Association for Palestine), is tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. CAIR’s director Nihad Awad publicly announced his support for Hamas.

CAIR Director, Nihad Awad and senior Muslim Brotherhood leader Jamal Badawi have been featured visitors at Imam Bahloul’s Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. CAIR and Badawi were named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing prosecution, “ample evidence” tying CAIR to Hamas.

Hamas runs CAIR.

L to R: unknown, unknown, Nihad Awad (CAIR), Saleh Sbenaty, Bahlouo)

On July 31, 2014, at a rally for Palestinian terror bomber Rasmea Odeh, CAIR- Michigan director Dawud Walid declared CAIR’s role as being “defenders of the Palestinian struggle.” Walid’s declaration was more proof that CAIR is a Hamas affiliate.

Last summer, Muslim activist Remziya Suleyman, director of the American Center for Outreach (ACO) brought Dawud Walid to Nashville to teach Muslim high school students about U.S. politics. It seems that Suleyman, an active collaborator and promoter of CAIR-Hamas, agrees with their Jew-hating stance. She also surrounds herself with other ant-Israel Jew haters.

Drost Kokoye, Suleyman’s childhood friend and employee at ACO, is a robust anti-Semitic Jew hater. Drost used her reporter friend Skye Arnold to complain about a pro-Israel educational pamphlet, and more recently, to help organize and lead pro-Hamas rallies in Nashville.

These are the facts, the truth. Why do these rabbis deny it? How do you compromise or reason with people who want to kill you?

If, as the rabbis say, these Jew-haters are only opponents, what more would they have to do to be considered an enemy?

Newsletter #138 – Jews Should Stand With Hamas Against Israel

So says Tennessee Muslim American Center for Outreach (ACO) Director, Remziya Suleyman who criticized Nashville Federation Director Mark Freedman for speaking at a recent pro-Israel rally in Nashville. She objected to him standing up for Israel at this event that included some organizations she characterizes as “anti-Muslim.”

On her facebook page, Suleyman rants against the Jewish Federation. In her typical broad-brush labeling of anyone who doesn’t agree with her, she deliberately ignores pertinent facts like:

  • the material support bill was a response to Memphis jihadist Carlos Bledsoe, aka Abdulhakim Moahmmed, It was an anti-terrorism bill, NOT an anti-sharia bill. Suleyman and CAIR were the ones that equated anti-terrorism with material support and sharia
  • she admitted she didn’t even “know the concept of sharia” before she decided to launch her pro-sharia political agenda
  • early objections to the Murfreesboro mosque were based on evidence of Muslim Brotherhood involvement with mosque leadership which has continued with visits from CAIR-Hamas director Nihad Awad and senior Muslim Brotherhood leader and terrorism financing unindicted co-conspirator, Jamal Badawi

Suleyman relies on the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) reports to castigate the Jewish Federation director’s participation with the Christians rallying to support Israel. Has Suleyman read what the ADL has to say about the organizations she works with and the individuals she favors? Obviously not.

After attending Louis Farrakhan’s talk in Nashville, Suleyman publicly commented that the Nation of Islam “got it right.” Has Suleyman read the ADL’s unfavorable opinion about Louis Farrakhan?

The ADL website confirms CAIR’s Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas ties. It also cites CAIR among the Top 10 Anti-Israel groups in the U.S.. Suleyman actively promotes and participates with CAIR, publicly supports their work and even brought CAIR’s anti-Semitic Michigan director to Tennessee to train Muslim high school students. Here is what the ADL says about CAIR:

“CAIR also continues to offer a platform to conspiratorial Israel-bashers and outright anti-Semites.  For example, CAIR’s Florida chapter operates a Web site that makes anti-Semitic material available for visitors interested in learning about Islam. CAIR also organizes anti-Israel rallies during which protestors and speakers engage in anti-Semitic rhetoric, use offensive Holocaust imagery likening Jews and Israelis to Nazis, and express support for terror groups.”

August 6, 2014, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel rally; ACO Civic Engagement Coordinator, Drost Kokoye with the megaphone

Nor does Suleyman offer any explanation about why her organization’s Civic Engagement Coordinator, Drost Kokoye, has been organizing and leading the pro-Hamas rallies. Does Suleyman understand that even if Drost calls it a “free Gaza, pro-Palestinian” rally, it is Hamas, the elected government that she is supporting? Does Suleyman agree with the part in the Hamas charter that calls for jihad to destroy Israel?

“From the river to the sea Palestine will be free” is a reference that means there would be no Israel between the Jordan River and Mediterranean—and no Jews.

“From the river to the sea Palestine will be free” is a reference that means there would be no Israel between the Jordan River and Mediterranean—and no Jews.

Suleyman likes to compare the Muslim struggle to American blacks’ civil rights history. Black Christian Zionist Chloe Valdary would tell Suleyman and her employee Drost Kokoye, that Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks and other black leaders, were both Zionists. As King said, “[w]hen people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You are talking anti-Semitism.” So why does Suleyman surround herself with friends and colleagues who advocate Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS), against Israel and other expressions of anti-semitism and Jew-hatred?

Suleyman says she has Jewish friends who like her, are offended that Freedman put his allegiance with Israel over Muslim sensitivities. Are these the same Jewish friends who belong to the J Street organization that says Israel should negotiate with the terrorist organization Hamas?

Is this the same J Street organization that has included the BDS voice in their annual conference? And the same organization that was rejected membership in the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations?

And the same J Street organization that recently pulled out of an Israel solidarity rally? We would guess that these are Suleyman’s Jewish friends. It’s not likely they would have been at the Nashville Israel rally simply because they would have been confused as to which rally to join. Or, maybe they aren’t confused at all but don’t want to be seen standing with hijabis shrilling in support of Hamas.

Suleyman and her Civic Engagement Coordinator Are Out of Step with Kurdish Support for Israel

Suleyman’s claim to interfaith work is a one-way street because it is really about the Quran’s commandment to proselytize the non-Muslim kaffir. Her sole objective is for non-Muslims to accept what she believes Islam is despite having admitted to the large gaps in her knowledge base. “I never knew the concept of sharia…”

Despite her professed yearning for a free and independent Kurdistan, the country she idealizes and identifies most closely with, she cannot breach the Quran’s Jew-hating directives. She says the Quran “is always right.” Here are only a few of what the Quran says about Jews:

Surah 5:60 from the Quran says: “Say, ‘Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah ? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way.’”

Surah 5:51O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.”

That may explain why she hasn’t rallied in support of Israel or hasn’t acknowledged that Israel’s Prime Minister is the first world leader to call for an independent Kurdistan.

The Young Kurds group rallied last week in front of the White House shouting, “We support Kurdistan.” “We support Israel our new friend.” “No to Hamas.”

Who does Suleyman support?

Suleyman’s interfaith work is about the Red-Green Alliance

The red-green alliance is part of Suleyman’s interfaith work in Nashville. This interfaith work is more about being anti-Israel in an effort to support Islamist sensitivities. It is dominated by liberal progressive Christians, Jews and even some Muslims, who either openly support the BDS campaign, or like Jewish Voice for Peace, give it their “Jewish” stamp of approval.

The Israel bashers and Jew-haters in their midst, including the Islamists and Arabs, have shrewdly embedded their objectives in the leftist jargon of social justice and human and minority rights.  The Islamist partners in the Red-Green Alliance steadfastly challenge man’s right to legislate over Allah and make laws of their own while the Christian leftists delight in practicing social justice with Hamas, a terrorist organization that rules over its own apartheid state.

Drost sign says: "ISIS kills Kurds and Shias to make an Islamic state ISRAEL kills Palestinians to make a "Jewish" state OPPOSE BOTH!

Drost sign says: “ISIS kills Kurds and Shias to make an Islamic state
ISRAEL kills Palestinians to make a “Jewish” state
OPPOSE BOTH!

Suleyman’s other interfaith work is with Religions for Peace, USA (RFP), an organization heavily threaded with Muslim Brotherhood representatives. RFP is “yet another coalition of Islamists and their non-Muslim political allies”

Some Jewish leaders in Nashville finally saying “no” to Jew hatred

Apologists like Rabbi Mark Schiftan cannot control their compulsion to appease Islam. Nor do they acknowledge that the Arab-Israeli conflict is not confined to the Middle East but has implications right here in the U.S.. Other Nashville rabbis and the director of the Nashville Jewish Federation were at the rally and each stated unequivocally that as American Jews, they stood with their Christian friends in support of Israel. They condemned Hamas attacks against Israel and joined in recognizing the courage of IDF soldiers defending their country.

We can only hope that these Jewish leaders will also acknowledge that no matter how they try to appease Islamists like Drost Kokoye, they are not immune from the Islamic Jew-hatred that is rapidly emerging and threatening Jews in Europe. Did they ever believe they would confront pro-Hamas rallies in their city? Are they surprised that their Muslim interfaith partners didn’t join them to rally for Israel?

*****************

What Suleyman offers is nothing more than the standard blackmail within the interfaith racket. First they form a warm relationship with you. But then, when you speak up for Israel, they spring into a threatening mode.  As Suleyman says, “that’s a nice relationship we got there, it would be a shame if anything happened to it.”

Newsletter #91- Remziya Suleyman Brings Hamas-CAIR to Train Tennessee Students

American Center for Outreach (ACO) Director Remziya Suleyman brings the Muslim Brotherhood message directly to the youth she trains.  Suleyman provides youth education about political activism and advancing the objectives of political sharia, ie, the Muslim Brotherhood plan.

“Muslim Brotherhood” is as much about an ideological plan for the U.S. as it is about individual relationships and the organizations that have come together to work toward these goals.

On Saturday, April 6, 2013, Suleyman spoke at the birthplace of the U.S, Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  She was part of the Spring Camp 2013.  The MSA is a Muslim Brotherhood off-shoot for colleges and universities across the country that have become the training ground for Suleyman’s stealth jihad generation.

Muslim Youth Network of TN

Closer to home Suleyman is bringing the message of political sharia to Tennessee’s Muslim youth.  Organized in 2012 and based in Nashville, the Muslim Youth Network of TN (MYNT), is a mosque/college collaboration to provide programming, mentorship and training to the younger members of the TN ummah and partners to feed the university MSAs.

MYNT board members identified as of this writing are Fardin Mohammadi who is the current president of the Vanderbilt MSA, Drost Kokoye who until recently was the Multicultural Organizer for the TN Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) and is an American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC)  Board member, and Kasar Abdullah, an ACO board member and sister to Suleyman’s administrative assistant, Jihan Abdullah.

A stated goal of MYNT is to help develop future Islamic leaders.  Two recent MYNT events reveal just what kind of leadership advisor- Suleyman is trying to mold.

The day started with Hannah Cornfield, ACO’s “Policy Fellow” and daughter of TN ACLU’s director, teaching about the civic process.

On June 27, MYNT’s “Muslim Advocacy Day”  played out in Nashville’s city offices.  There was a private tour of Mayor Dean’s offices, a presentation by a city council member, and a mock debate in the council chambers – all designed to feed the narrative that youth must become politically empowered.

Dawud Walid – Islamic militant and CAIR extremist

Dawud Walid has been the Executive Director at the Michigan CAIR chapter since 2005 so he was there when CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial in 2007.  CAIR’s unindicted co-conspirator status resulted because its parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), was proven to be a front organization for Hamas.  In 2009 a federal judge confirmed the “ample” evidentiary link between Hamas and CAIR.  CAIR is also under suspicion of an international money laundering scheme.

Walid serves as an imam at Masjid Wali Muhammad, a Detroit-area mosque whose roots were in the black separatist Nation of Islam.

Walid is also a member of the North American Imams Federation (NAIF) whose director, Omar Shahin, was one of the six imams that staged an airport controversy in Minnesota and was a fundraiser for two Hamas-related charities, Kindhearts and the Holy Land Foundation.  These charities have been shut down by the U.S. government.

Walid has been recorded telling Muslim youth the following:

Consistent with CAIR’s anti-FBI messaging, Walid lectures to students that he believes that FBI agents are waiting to set them up through informants, suggesting that they should feel threatened by law enforcement:  “you have agent provocateurs and people who are acting as informants that are trying to further their careers, to get out of trouble, to get arrests, try to set people up, and guess the No.1 group of people who are targeted by these FBI agent provocateurs?  Does anyone have a guess?  Muslims.”

He casually tells students about al-Shabaab and almost questions whether it should be designated as a terrorist entity.  Al Shabaab is the group that is responsible for the recent terrorist attacks on non-Muslims in a mall in Nairobi, Kenya.

If it’s a Muslim being arrested it can only be entrapment or wrongful targeting by law enforcement:

For example, as reported by IPT:

In 2009 he publicly defended the “Liberty City Seven” (see p.12), and characterized it as entrapment of Muslims.  Five of the seven were eventually convicted of agreeing to provide material support to Al-Qaeda

In 2010 speeches, he “accused FBI ‘agent provocateurs’ of taking advantage of ‘emotional people,’ ‘getting them excited,’ ‘giving them plots,’ and then ‘after they push the people,’ saying ‘gotcha’”.  These remarks followed the arrest of the Oregon Christmas-tree lighting bomb plot and the Maryland recruiting center bomb plot.

Without supporting facts, he challenged the DOJ report that showed no FBI wrongdoing in the attempted arrest and eventual shooting of Luqman Abdullah

More on Walid and the September 2010 FBI raids and the “Bronx Four” here

Walid jumped on the hate crime bandwagon regarding the 2012 bludgeoning death of the San Diego Iraqi mother, which turned out to be death by domestic violence.

Walid is an anti-Semite who demonizes Jews as the source of Black Muslims’ problems:

Walid’s May 2012 sermon at the Islamic Organization of North America mosque asked, “Who are those who incurred the wrath of Allah?  They are the Jews, they are the Jews”

In his 2012 speech at the Islamic Center of Detroit he confirmed that those who earned Allah’s wrath are the Jews and those who go astray are the Christians which is the Al-Fatihah prayed by Muslims multiple times a day.

He has also been recorded: “One of the greatest social ills facing America today is Islamophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry.  And if you trace the organizations and the main advocates and activists in Islamophobia in America, you will see that all those organizations are pro-Israeli occupation organizations and activists.”  And,

“So this is why you see the Islamophobia network trying to gin up negative information about Muslims and Islam.  This is a direct connection to the occupation of Palestine.  It is a direct connection.  And [it is] because the strongest Israeli lobby in the world is in America, because America is the sole patron of Israel.”

Parroting other CAIR leaders, Walid says Hamas deserves to participate in all peace talks because it “represents the elected government of the Palestinian people during a fair election.”

****************************

Dawud Walid’s visit was the second time Remziya Suleyman brought a CAIR representative to Tennessee.  Does it matter to her that federal prosecution established “ample evidence” tying CAIR to Hamas and to the Muslim Brotherhood?

Does it matter to Suleyman that the individuals and organizations with which she regularly interfaces are deeply committed, connected and rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood plan for our country to replace the U.S. Constitution with sharia law?  Deception?  Intentional ignorance?  Either way suggests that public officials, citizen activists and even her own community should start questioning her judgment and motives.

Newsletter #202 – Mohamed Magid and ISNA – No shows for Jewish leftists

On October 18, 2016, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) former president Mohamed Magid was scheduled to participate in the “Exhibit & Lecture series: “Moving From Indifference to Action,” a two week program focused on the Holocaust. The program was sponsored by The Tennessee Holocaust Commission, Temple Ohabai Shalom, The Jewish Federation, Vanderbilt University, Family of Abraham and The Faith & Culture Center.

Magid was supposed to deliver a lecture at 11:00 a.m. at The Temple titled “Standing Up Against Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial.” And that evening, he was supposed to participate in an interfaith Jewish holiday service with the Temple’s rabbi, Mark Schiftan.

Magid was billed as the “former President of ISNA,” a named Muslim Brotherhood front group. Magid first served as a regional representative of, as Vice-President, and then as President of ISNA from 2010 to 2014. He currently remains on the organizations Executive Council.

But Magid never showed up for the lecture or the interfaith service. Was he kept away by ISNA’s support for the new anti-Semitism called the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel?

Instead, Vanderbilt professor, M.Issam Eido, Senior Lecturer, Arabic Languages and Literatures was the substitute lecturer. Eido talked about how a Jewish family helped him leave Syria.

The interfaith service was also used to promote the Faith and Culture Center’s political agenda “Our Muslim Neighbor”, highlighting the Goldziher Award from the William & Mary Greve Foundation (the Foundation) for Jewish-Muslim Dialogue. This same foundation funded “The Islam Project”, designed to convince Americans that Islam and Muslims are just like Jews and Christians that live in the U.S.

Obviously no one at the foundation or the interfaith event care that President and founder of the Faith & Culture Center, Daoud Abudiab consorts with groups like American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and CAIR?

AMP is among the most virulent anti-Israel Jew-hating organizations in the U.S. and CAIR’s national director has publicly voiced his support for HAMAS. And Abudiab has his own anti-Israel statements to make:

ISNA also not showing up for leftist Jews

mjac

On November 14, 2016, six days after Donald Trump was elected as President, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) announced that it was launching a Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council (MJAC) in partnership with ISNA.

Four days later, ISNA issued a “clarification” about its support for MJAC, qualifying its full support based on its “… principled commitment to domestic and international causes of concern to Muslims will remain strong. We specifically would like to reiterate support for the right of individuals and organizations in the US to peacefully work for human rights and the right of self-determination of Palestinians without fear of legal sanction.”

In other words, the issue of Jews and Arabs in the Middle East and Israel specifically, is their first and only real commitment.

That’s why ISNA affiliated imams who visited the concentration camps said, “…Muslim acknowledgement of the Holocaust should be followed by similar initiatives on the Jewish side, acknowledging Palestinian suffering and the role that Israels founding and the countrys subsequent policies had in this.”

Do they mean that Palestinians are the same as Jewish Holocaust victims?

Thats why ISNA supports the BDS movement.

ISNA knows that no amount of interfaith dialogue or clergy outrage over anti-Semitism and mythical Islamophobia will change Islam’s doctrinal edicts when it comes to Jews and Israel.

Islamist Jew-haters and supporters of “radical Palestinian terror groups” understand how gullible American leftist progressives are.  One Islamist leader accurately predicted in 1998 that the intifada followed by a BDS campaign would be supported by “progressive Jewish forces in Israel and the United States…[any group] enlisted in the ‘progressivecause of the Palestinian Arabs – why not, anyone ‘progressiveenough to embrace Hamas…is someone useful to Israels enemies.”

Thats why ISNA works with AMP and CAIR. Thats why ISNA, a Muslim Brotherhood organization in its own right, supports HAMAS. ISNA, Mohamed Magid, or any other Islamist partner will never abandon the mandates in the Korran and Islamic doctrine when it comes to Jews and Israel.

Newsletter #201 – Whitewashing the Ovens – the moral equivocating starts in Nashville

Anybody can be an anti-Semite, but to really harm Jews, it helps to be a Jew.

Leftist Jews who concede a moral equivalence between the horror and evil of the Holocaust, and the “nakbah,” (translated as “the catastrophe” is what Arabs label the reestablishment of Israel, the Jewish homeland), should be ashamed.

Starting on October 14, 2016, The Tennessee Holocaust Commission, Temple Ohabai Shalom, The Jewish Federation, Vanderbilt University, Family of Abraham and The Faith & Culture Center will sponsor the “Exhibit & Lecture series: “Moving From Indifference to Action.” The lecture series will continue for two weeks.

daoud-nakbah

Event sponsor Faith & Culture Center’s president Daoud Abudiab posts on his facebook page how he really feels about the State of Israel

The event will also include an interfaith service with Imam Mohamed Magid at The Temple whose senior rabbi Mark Schiftan, has made it his mission to fight Islamophobia in Nashville.

Magid is among the “newly educated” former Holocaust deniers. After his visit to the Nazi death camps of Auschwitz and Dachau, he said, [w]hether in Europe today or in the Muslim world, my call to humanity: End racism for Gods sake, end anti-Semitism for Gods sake, end Islamophobia for Gods sake, end sexism for Gods sake… Enough is enough.

Magid’s sentiments may be sincere, but leave unanswered whether his call to end anti-Semitism includes this century’s new anti-Semitism movement called Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions against Israel (BDS). The United States Commission on Civil Rights has stated, “anti-Semitic bigotry is no less morally deplorable when camouflaged as anti-Israelism or anti-Zionism.

Sometimes described as politically correct or politically sanctioned anti-Semitism, the end goal of BDS as stated by the movement’s founder Omar Barghouti is clear. He rejects a two-state solution and says that Palestinian right of return is the way to end Israel as a Jewish state.Youd have a Palestine next to a Palestine rather than a Palestine next to Israel.

Leaders of the BDS movement, including the former and current directors of Samar Ali father’s Jerusalem Fund organization, agree that the end goal is to destroy the State of Israel.

The question Nashville’s Jews and the Tennessee Holocaust Commission members should be asking Magid is why, as President of ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), he allowed his organization to actively promote the leaders of BDS and the BDS campaign?

Who is Imam Mohamed Magid?

Mohamed Magid was born in Northern Sudan. He first came to the U.S. sometime in 1987 to donate his kidney to his father. He claims that the relationship with his father’s kidney doctor, who was Jewish, caused him to reject anti-Semitism:

I hold a very strong view against antisemitism. And this unacceptable behavior of some so-called Muslim leaders who deny Holocaust, which I do believe is one of the biggest signs of antisemitism- is to deny the Holocaust.”

Magid is the Executive Imam of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), located in Northern Virginia and one of the largest Islamic centers in the Washington, D.C. area.

A March 2015 article highlighted that ADAMS “identifi[ed] itself as an affiliate of ISNA on its website.” Shortly thereafter, ADAMS eliminated this statement from its website.

Magid has had long-standing leadership responsibilities with ISNA, serving first as a regional representative, then Vice-President and finally, being elected President of ISNA in 2010. He served as President through 2014 and currently remains on the organizations Executive Council.

ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood group identified in the 1991 Explanatory Memorandum, the Brotherhood’s plan for overtaking the West. ISNA is a named unindicted co-conspirator in the successful Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing prosecution. ISNA supports HAMAS, a U.S. designated terrorist organization dedicated to destroying the State of Israel.

cartoon

ISNA has a well documented history of supporting the BDS movement and its leaders. During Magid’s tenure as President, ISNA leaders participated in the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) annual conference alongside speakers like BDS founder Omar Barghouti.

AMP is a national extremist anti-Israel organization that helps train and support Students for Justice in Palestine groups and is described by the Anti-Defamation League, as “anti-Semitism under the guise of educating Americans about the just cause of Palestine and the rights of self-determination. The 2012 conference provided workshops about how to get involved in the BDS movement.

ISNA’s Secretary General Safaa Zarzour spoke at AMP’s 2011 meeting and at AMP’s 2012 conference, both times at the behest of Magids leadership of ISNA. Zarzours talk about uniting Muslim organizations behind the BDS campaign was described as one of the most “inspiring” talks of the conference.

And AMP has reciprocated by speaking at ISNA conferences during Magid’s tenure as President.

Another former President of ISNA, Muzammil Siddiqi, was also part of the imam trip to the Nazi death camps. Siddiqi, who refuses to denounce HAMAS or Hezbollah, has praised suicide bombers as “those who die on the part of justice, serves as the director of the Islamic Society of Orange County and the Chairman of the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California.

The November 20, 2012 newsletter of Siddiqi’s Shura Council praised student BDS initiatives:

Shura Council applauds the Associated Students of UCI [University of California, Irvine], for unanimously passing a resolution calling for UCI to divest from companies who benefit from occupied Palestine. Click here to learn more about UCI divestment and learn what is B D S here.

And the quid pro quo for turning the imams into Holocaust believers?

A Jewish magazine written by and for leftist Jews, called The Forward, documented different parts of the imams’ trip to the death camps, including the apparent struggle for the imams to sell Holocaust truth to their fellow Muslims:

At several points during the trip, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was invoked, as well as the perceived linkage between the Holocaust and the creation of the State of Israel that often makes the Holocaust itself a difficult topic in the Muslim world. Some acknowledged that this posed a potential impediment to widespread acknowledgement of the Holocaust in their own community.

In some of their most sensitive discussions, several delegates grappled with the issue of how to present the truth of the Holocaust in a way that would be accepted and taken to heart by their congregants. Breger, citing the need for the participants to speak freely to each other on this, ruled these exchanges off the record. But broadly, one suggestion was that Muslim acknowledgement of the Holocaust should be followed by similar initiatives on the Jewish side, acknowledging Palestinian suffering and the role that Israels founding and the countrys subsequent policies had in this.” (emphasis added)

This approach could be a twofer – whitewash both the ovens and the proven 3,000 plus year link of the Jews to the land of Israel. The false narrative that the State of Israel came into being simply to accommodate survivors of the Holocaust is simply not true.

Are Jewish leaders in Nashville preparing to own the nakbah narrative?

At the very least, the organizers of the Holocaust event in Nashville have given sanction to an event co-sponsored by Faith and Culture Center’s president Daoud Abudiab, who posts his anti-Israelism on facebook.

Would Nashville’s Jewish leadership organizing the Holocaust event ask Magid to disavow his organization’s support for the BDS movement, its goals and its promoters?

Would they ask him to deny ISNA’s support for HAMAS, whose charter includes these verses from the Quaran and the Hadith:

Article 7 of the HAMAS Charter:
“The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,’ except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Recorded in the Hadith [words and deeds of Mohammed] collections of Bukhari and Muslim).

Article 13 of the HAMAS Charter:
The Jews will never be content with you, nor will the Christians, until you follow their religion. Say: ‘The guidance of Allah is the right guidance.’ But if you follow their desires after the knowledge which has come to you, then you shall have no protector or guardian from Allah.” (Koran, 2:120)

Nashville’s rabbinical leadership have a clever slogan – “we may be opponents, we need not be enemiesinferring the moral equivalence sought by the death camp visiting imams, including those who have shown or enabled support for the BDS campaign.

With the help and endorsement of the Tennessee Holocaust Commission, the Jewish Federation and other Jewish leadership in Nashville, the anti-Semitism that drove the Holocaust will be separated from the Left and Islamic groups’ BDS attack on Israel.

The Jews in Nashville are preparing to abandon the Jews in Israel to further attacks via BDS. Does whitewashing the ovens with the supposed “conversion” of radical imams (who have a sacred sanction to lie to further Islam), mean that “never again” somehow magically will not happen?

Newsletter #200 – Nashville Sheriff wants Islamist “impact” in the jails

Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall wants “cultural awareness” training on Islam for his staff to have more “impact.”

Does Hall have any idea what he will be inviting into the county’s prison system?

In 2009, it was exposed that Warith Deen, the head Muslim chaplain for New York’s state prisons for 20 years, “considered the 9/11 hijackers to be martyrs.” Deen was in charge of hiring Muslim chaplains and leading prayer services.

Also uncovered from a search of federal records, is that Muslim Brotherhood affiliate and front groups have dedicated prison programs that provide religious material and volunteer chaplains. This has been used as one avenue by which Muslims not only fulfill their religious duty to proselytize (“dawa”) and convert non-Muslims to Islam.

ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), is a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing prosecution for raising and sending money to HAMAS, a U.S. designated terrorist organization. Since 1993, ISNA has been the official endorsing agency for the U.S. military’s Muslim chaplain program.

One Muslim chaplain endorsed by ISNA, Imam Abdul-Rasheed Muhammad, was a convert to the Nation of Islam. He also worked with the Saudi backed charity, the Muslim World League (MWL) to establish the military’s Muslim chaplain program. It was later discovered that the MWL was tied to al Qaeda.

One of ISNA’s founders and its first president, Abdurahman Alamoudi, was instrumental in guiding the military’s Muslim chaplain program and as reported, “handpicked” Imam Abdul-Rasheed Muhammad as ISNA’s first endorsed military chaplain. In 2004 Alamoudi was sentenced to 23 years in prison for terrorism-related activities.

Nashville jails following the same pattern?

Did Sheriff Hall bother to vet the individuals and group he was embracing? Is he aware that the Islamic Center of Nashville and the Salahadeen Center hosted another discredited ISNA official involved with Muslim prison chaplains?

sheriff meeting

In 2010, these mosques invited Louay Safi, who at that time was ISNA’s director of Communications and Leadership Development to speak to their congregations. Right before Safi’s Nashville visit, a Dallas newspaper published a story revealing the fact that Safi’s contract as a lecturer on Islam at military bases, had been suspended. Safi was a trainer on Islam at Fort Hood (Texas) in November 2009, when U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan killed 13 Americans in a jihadist shooting spree. Safi had previously been identified as part of a terrorism financing group and was later named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing prosecution.

CAIR is another Muslim Brotherhood organization that was also named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation prosecution. Paul Galloway, the director of is the former director of the CAIR-Houston office. Galloway now lives in Nashville and is the director of the AMAC (American Muslim Advisory Council) and ACO (American Center for Outreach) – and one of the invitees who met with Sheriff Hall about training his staff on Islam.

The sheriff agreed with Galloway and the other Islamist representatives, that training for his staff can only be delivered by Muslims. The sheriff further agreed, the only way to ensure that all Muslim criminals’ demands are accommodated, he would hire a Muslim advocate.

Sheriff Hall has admitted that as the Muslim population in Davidson County has grown, so has “their presence inside county jails.”

In 2013, Davidson County’s population was 658,602 including approximately 6,296 Muslims. That equals about 1% of the total population and yet, according to the sheriff, they make up to 10% of the jail population – more than double what youd find ten years ago.

Considering the information being exposed about Muslim refugees in other states (for example, here and here),committing crimes and gang involvement, the Nashville jail demographics, aren’t surprising.

Islamists always have a secondary agenda

Speaking for the group, Galloway, said they also wanted to “be versed in the policies that govern the use of force in jails and what triggers local authorities to initiate deportation proceedings.”

Are these questions about deportation of illegal immigrant criminals or refugee criminals who would still subject to deportation? And why are they asking questions about use of force in jails? That sounds like Black Lives Matter talking.

Tennessee’s Islamist organizations including AMAC, ACO and the Faith and Culture Center (FCC), have formally joined forces with Black Lives Matter (BLM). The founder and president of the FCC, Daoud Abudiab, is also a founding member of AMAC, and the president of the board of the TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC). All these groups are collaborating with BLM.

daoud at conf w blm movement

(Daoud Abudiab, founder of FCC, founding member of AMAC and president of TIRRC)

It’s the same police/law enforcement brutality/discrimination/unfair treatment talk that a Minneapolis Somali refugee used in her platform and which got her the Democratic nomination for a seat in her state legislature. (BTW, it’s been discovered that she married her brother and brought him to the U.S. at the same time that she was married to the father of her children.)

In the context of jails, the joinder of the Islamists and BLM makes complete sense. Criminals, particularly black criminals have long been a fertile population for conversion to Islam.

Charles Colson, jailed for several months for his role in Watergate and who later founded a prison ministry observed that “some varieties of religious instruction in prison can transform ‘petty criminals into professional terrorists.’” His examples included Richard Reid, the airplane shoe bomber, and Jose Padilla.

Nicknamed “the dirty bomber,” with ties to al Qaeda, Padilla attended a fundamentalist mosque in Florida which at that time, was led by Rafiq Mahdi, a convert who trained in Saudi Arabia and is known in Tennessee as the “unofficial imam of Knoxville.” Mahdi just happens to also be employed by ICNA, another Muslim Brotherhood front group.

****

AMAC and others also plan to meet with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the field office of the FBI – which tells you they are up to something else. What is it?

More subversion of law enforcement? Demands for greater diversity in the ranks of law enforcement? More opportunities to replay their victim narrative?

The real question that should be asked is if this is the religion of peace, why are there so many Muslim criminals in the Davidson County jails?

Newsletter #197 – Nashville Jewish Leftists Partner with BDS Proponents Against Islamophobia

Islamophobia” was invented by the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT), a Muslim Brotherhood front organization. The term as confirmed by former insider Abdur-Rahman Muhammad is specifically intended to suppress any criticism of Islam and Muslims – even those that commit violent jihad.

The IIIT was part of a 5 year terrorism financing investigation for its questionable ties to terrorist groups and for being the largest monetary donor to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group. The IIIT’s deceit of Islamophobia erodes our First Amendment speech rights and facilitates violent jihad.

The neighbor of the San Bernadino jihadis who saw suspicious activity didn’t report it fearing she would be called a racist.

Jewish leftists in Nashville believe they are the David to the Goliath of Islamophobia

In December 2015, shortly after the November Paris jihad, Rabbi Mark Schiftan, Nashville Jewish community’s leading Muslim apologist, rushed to join Nashville’s ultra-progressive leftists Mayor Megan Barry in a public show of solidarity against Islamophobia and the phantom hate crimes it allegedly inspires. Schiftan was joined by other Nashville rabbis including Shana Mackler, Joshua Kullock and Joshua Barton.

barry islamophobia 2

The real joke is on Schiftan, the other rabbis and the Jewish social justice warriors that followed him, because the Muslim Brotherhood creators of Islamophobia also promote BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions) against Israel. Does the senior rabbi of The Temple in Nashville even care that the goal of BDS is to end Israel as Jewish state? Does he understand that the anti-Israelism of BDS is the 20th century’s new anti-Semitism?

Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the Palestine Boycott National Committee says that Palestinian right of return, a demand made by BDS promoters, would mean “youd have a Palestine next to a Palestine.” It would end Israel as a Jewish state.

Hatem Bazian, founder and chairman of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), has formally joined with named Muslim Brotherhood organizations to form the U.S. Council on Muslim Organizations (USCMO).

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), describes AMP as “anti-Semitism under the guise of educating Americans about the just cause of Palestine and the rights of self-determination.”

AMP’s first conference in 2006 featured several former Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) leaders including Osama Abu Irshaid (IAP board member and now AMP and USCMO board member) who speaking at an SJP event, told his audience that he considers firing rockets from Gaza into Israel “legitimate resistance.” IAP served as a U.S. based propaganda outlet for HAMAS.  Nihad Awad and Omar Awad, both former IAP officials, started CAIR.  Nihad Awad, who publicly voiced his support for HAMAS is a founding member of USCMO.

AMP helps train and support Student for Justice in Palestine activists to bring the BDS message to college campuses.  SJP’s 2002 national convention was sponsored by the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), with guest speaker Sami al-Arian. AMP’s collaboration with Sami al-Arian, the head of the Palestine Islamic Jihad brings a certain irony to the issue of Islamophobia.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) has also joined forces with the USCMO and individual USCMO organizations including AMP. In fact, ISNA has actively promoted AMP and its BDS agenda. ISNA’s Secretary General has been a repeat speaker at AMP conferences and AMP founder Hatem Bazian has spoken at ISNA conferences since ISNA has its own long history of Jew hatred and ISNA leaders supporting BDS campaigns.

Does Schiftan realize he is surrounded?

Samar Ali, a Metro Nashville Human Rights Commissioner also attended the December Muslim solidarity event. Samar’s father, Subhi Ali has served as the Chairman of the Jerusalem Fund (JF) since 2005. The founder of the Jerusalem Fund, Hisham Sharabi, endorsed the anti-Israel rhetoric and actions of pro-Palestinian groups like the Muslim Brotherhood HAMAS.

In keeping with the JF’s anti-Israel advocacy, it’s director from 2009 – 2015, Yousef Munayyer openly advocated for BDS. Munayyer left the JF to become the Executive Director of the U.S. Campaign to End the Occupation another organization listed among the Anti-Defamation Leagues Top 10 Anti-Israel Groups in America.

On September 14, 2015, the Jerusalem Fund’s new Director, Zeina Azzam, hosted the program titled “Building the BDS Movement for Justice in Palestine.”

Schiftan’s Temple past president Bernard Werthan is also a board member of Daoud Abudiab’s Faith and Culture Center (FCC). Abudiab tries hard to portray himself as an interfaither with the singular agenda of creating a positive impression of Muslims through his “Our Muslim Neighbor” a project of Religions for Peace USA, an organization itself tied to Muslim Brotherhood organizations. Coming out of the closet in his own way, Abudiab joined the Muslim Brotherhood organizations at the USCMO conference in Washington.

Maybe Abudiab senses that jihad apologists like Schiftan agree that Israel has wronged the Palestinians and can understand why an intifada, a Palestinian uprising (like the Palestinian suicide bombers who massacred innocent Israelis in the Sbarro pizza restaurant), is justified. Regardless, Abudiab is now showing his anti-Israelism:

daoud facebook

Islamist Jew-haters like Hisham Sharabi, founder of the Jerusalem Fund and supporter of “radical Palestinian terror groups” understood how gullible American leftist progressives are.  He predicted that the intifada followed by a BDS campaign would be supported by “progressive Jewish forces in Israel and the United States…[any group] enlisted in the ‘progressive’ cause of the Palestinian Arabs – why not, anyone ‘progressive’ enough to embrace Hamas…is someone useful to Israel’s enemies.”

Newsletter #195 – Christians Advocate for Israel while Jews in Nashville Support Its Enemies

PJTN (Proclaiming Justice to the Nations), CUFI (Christians United for Israel) and Tennessee’s state legislators like Judd Matheny and Sheila Butt, pass strong pro-Israel resolutions.

Meanwhile, political leftists seem to dominate the organized Jewish community in Nashville, Tennessee. Despite over 100 knife attacks on Jews in Israel, no matter how many calls for another intifada, no matter how many Jewish children are murdered while sleeping in their beds, politically left American Jews and their leadership, stand with the jihadist murderers.

fogel children

(Fogel children murdered by jihadists: 11 year old Yoav, 4 year old Elad and a three month old infant girl, Hadas)

The rabbis in Nashville even have a slogan that justifies this resolve – “We may be opponents, we need not be enemies.” Even local Islamists whose group members emulate the language and values of HAMAS can get this rabbinical absolution. The leftist leadership extends the same olive branch to the anti-Israel, pro-BDS Nashville start-up chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), a group that puts politics before support for the Jewish biblical homeland.

JVP is an anti-Zionist Jewish hate group that collaborates with and stands in solidarity with other anti-Israel hate groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). Not surprisingly, JVP and SJP spewed from the same UC Berkley campus.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, JVP pushes ending U.S. aid to Israel, agitates both on and off college campuses using the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) campaign, the goal of which is to end Israel as a Jewish state. BDS embeds its objectives in language about social justice and human rights in order to deceive people who have a conscience.

Temple member and Alinsky disciple Pat Halper, is helping JVP to grow a Nashville chapter.

halperjvp

Halper, a member of The Temple (Congregation Ohabai Shalom led by Islamist fictionalist rabbi Mark Schiftan), is an extreme political leftist drawn to neo-Marxist organizations like Saul Alinsky’s first Nashville project called “Tying Nashville Together (TNT)” where she served as a board member. Once TNT flopped, many of its members moved on to NOAH (Nashville Organized for Action and Hope). Halper joined NOAH’s Executive Committee. She also chaired the social justice committee at The Temple.

Halper’s alignment with Israel’s enemies began long before Nashville’s JVP start-up. On July 13, 2011, the first Nashville Family of Abraham(FoA) event was held at the University School of Nashville.  Predictably, Halper was part of a large host committee joining her fellow Temple congregant, Bernard Werthan who is credited with getting the the Nashville FoA started.

TCPJ has written extensively about the red-green alliance, the Nashville FoA group and its connection to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. Werthan is heavily invested in FoA which could explain why he also donated to the New Israel Fund (NIF), which finances several groups that push the BDS campaign against Israel.

pat halper

The reality is that Family of Abraham events feature Muslim speakers and others who counsel attendees about how everyone should want to get closer to Muslims in their communities because they are only different branches of the same family tree.  The subtext of the meetings is Muslim victimhood and, by analogy, the same for their Middle Eastern brethren, the Arab Muslim Palestinians.

Supporting JVP lets Halper claim that unlike other Jews, she doesn’t automatically side with Israel. Progressive social justice Jews can look at the conflict and draw moral equivalences between Israeli civilians and Arab terrorists. JVP is also an antedote for Alinskyites like Halper whose white privilege lets her live in an expensive Green Hills neighborhood and send her kids to expensive private schools.

Or, maybe Halper is just trying to follow the example of her rabbi – every progressive interfaither should be able to say “one of my best friends is Muslim.”

Newsletter #194 State Funded School Vouchers Support Teaching Hate for Kaffirs

For the past three years, Governor Haslam and the rest of the establishment leadership have been trying to pass the Tennessee Choice & Opportunity Scholarship Act. The bill provides public money known as vouchers that families can use to pay for private school education.

Students at religious schools are heavy consumers of this public financing in states with school voucher laws.

The Beacon Center, the Tennessee chapter of American Federation for Children, Students First and Americans for Prosperity are some of the privately funded organizations that have lobbied hard to get the school voucher bill passed.

For the third time the legislature has not passed this bill. So, it seems the will of the people is not to use their tax dollars to send children to private schools. Maybe there’s a good reason.

Before Tennessee tries to pass this bill again, it should look at what happened the year after North Carolina passed its school voucher law. In 2014, North Carolina’s Greensboro Islamic Academy (GIA) was the largest consumer of publicly funded school vouchers having received 43 voucher applications.

The following year GIA’s voucher applications quadrupled to 170.

Islamic schools in Tennessee would qualify for school vouchers

Had the school voucher bill passed in Tennessee, Anoor Academy (Knoxville), Pleasant View School (Memphis) and Nashville International Academy (Nashville), would have been eligible to receive voucher money. All three are private Islamic schools. All three are accredited by AdvancED, a regional accrediting organization. Once they are accredited these schools get classified as “Category III” under the Tennessee State Board of Education rules. Category III schools were eligible for vouchers under the proposed school voucher bill.

In 2013, Anoor Academy’s promo video showed a row of the textbook What Islam Is All About. This book denigrates Jews and Christians and teaches that the warlord Muhammed is the perfect example to follow. It also states that there is no separation of Masjid and state, that “Muslims dream of establishing the power of Islam in the world,” and that living under sharia law is the preferred state for all humankind.

emerick book

Children in this private school read the following in this textbook:

p. 382 “…historians of the world recognize that Islamic civilization has been the most tolerant and fair out of all the worlds civilizations.

p. 188 – “Prophet Ibrahim called all people to Allahs way of life.  The ‘Jewsdont call anybody to anything.  They subscribe to a belief in racial superiority calling themselves the chosenones and excluding non-Jews as much as possible.  Their religion even teaches them to call down curses upon the worship places of non-Jews whenever they pass by them!  They arrogantly refer to anyone who is not Jewish as ‘Gentiles, equating them with sin.

Prophet Ibrahim told people to do good and he forbade the wrong.  Many religiousand non-religiousJews and Christians lead such decadent and immoral lives that lying, alcohol, nudity, pornography, racism, foul language, pre-marital sex, homosexuality and everything else are accepted in their society, churches and synagogues.  Just turn on the television in any Jewish or Christian community and see whats ‘normal.’”

Because Pleasant Valley School (PVS) is a private school, there is no way to verify whether they are using the same textbook. That aside, however, educational leadership recruited by the school, all have deep Muslim Brotherhood roots.

In 2010 PVS announced on its website that Dr. Hamed Ghazali had been hired as the new consultant for PVSIslamic Studies, Quaran & Arabic.Dr. Ghazali serves as Chairman of the Muslim American Society (MAS) Council of Islamic Schools (MASCIS), recognized as Muslim Brotherhood affiliates.

In 2004 MASSecretary-General admitted in court, under oath, that MAS was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. MASown archived website details its associations with the Muslim Students Association, ISNA and NAIT all named organizations in the Brotherhoods Explanatory Memo.

On page 12 of the Explanatory Memo it states:

We have a seed for a comprehensive Dawa educationalorganization: We have the Dawasection in ISNA.the center run by brother Hamed Ghazali…”

A Hamed Ghazali is listed individually in the Muslim Brotherhood telephone directory introduced into evidence during the HLF prosecution.

MAS is one of the organizations the UAE included on its terrorist designation because it is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.

During the joint MAS ICNA 2012 annual convention, Hamed Ghazali, told the audience in Arabic that Allah gave us the Jewsas the primary historical and religious example of those who take the wrong path.A recent article described him as taking a moderate approach to Islam.

On April 8, 2012, PVS announced that Dr. Mohammed Malley was hired to be the new principal.  Dr. Malley was the President of his universitys MSA. He later served with the Brotherhoods, MAS- Austin Chapter.

Dr. Malley was introduced at a PVS fundraiser keynoted by Kifah Mustapha, an active member of the Chicago-area Muslim community.  Mustapha was dismissed from serving as the first Muslim chaplain for the Illinois State Police after his ties to the HAMAS-support network were discovered.   It was disclosed that he had been a paid employee for the Holy Land Foundation and is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF prosecution.

The Nashville International l Academy (NIA), was established by the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) whose warranty deed shows a shared address with ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), a Muslim Brotherhood organization and one of the named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing prosecution.

In 1999, under the guidance of the ICNs Imam Abdulhakim Mohamed who had served at the radical al-Farooq mosque in Brooklyn, New York, the school was renamed the Nashville International Academy and ICN advertised for a principal with the Muslim Brotherhoods ISNA organization.

ICN leaders copy

Awadh Binhazim, Abdulhakim Mohammed, Mohammed Ahmed

Even though the school did not meet Tennessees statutory criteria to be recognized as a school, the State Board of Education approved their application in 2007 for this purpose.

In 2012 the warranty deed for NIA showed the owner as D.B. Client Service, LLC.  Devon Bank in Chicago created D.B. Client Service to manage special clients. Devon Bank has been involved with sharia compliant financial products since early 2000. In 2008 it was reported that sharia compliant products made up more than 75% of the bank’s mortgage portfolio.

Devon Bank products receive their Shariah compliant blessing from the Sharia Supervisory Board of America whose Vice-President is Mufti Usmani. Usmani, is a jihadist who has ties to the Taliban and has called for jihad against the West. He is a central leader with the madrassa that produced the Taliban leaders and he has publicly endorsed suicide bombing.

No doubt that students in these schools recite the Al-Fatihah multiple times in the same day. As part of their five daily prayers, they plead not to become like the Christians or the Jews:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

All praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists,

the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

the Owner of the Day of Recompense.

You we worship, and You we ask for help.

Guide us to the straight path,

The way of those upon whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (that) of those who

earned your anger (Jews), nor of those who went astray (Christians).”

Who in their right mind would want public money to pay for this???

Newsletter #190 -When “Social Justice” Replaces the Religion

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society announced that they will drop the word “Hebrew” and go simply by “HIAS.” They are one of the national federal refugee resettlement contractors screaming for Obama to admit at least 200,000 Syrian refugees regardless of valid security and cost concerns. HIAS and the other resettlement industry contractors have criticized Obama’s measly 10,000 Syrians that he has begun bringing to the U.S. This number of 10,000 is on top of the 70,000 plus of the mostly-sharia-compliant refugees from Islamic America-hating countries.

HIAS, like all resettlement businesses whose revenue is overwhelimingly government money, try to camouflage their extreme political leftism using religious organizational labels. They claim a moral superiority because “they save lives.”

HIAS is supported in its efforts by the extreme leftist Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), whose president, Rabbi Rick Jacobs, has endorsed Obama’s decision to admit Syrian refugees.

The URJ also supports “Free Choice in Abortion.”

The URJ has a political arm called the Religious Action Center (RAC) whose work and policy positions are “mandated” by the URJ and the various arms of the Reform Jewish movement. The Nashville Temple Ohabai Sholom in Nashville, is a Reform Jewish congregation and a member of the URJ, a recipient of URJ grant money, and as the Temple’s rabbi Shana Mackler says, is a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood.

The Temple is led by senior rabbi Mark Schiftan who shares the URJ’s love of Muslim Islamists. URJ’s immediate past president, rabbi Eric Yoffe, was one of the first Jewish leaders to speak at the annual ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) convention. ISNA was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood’s first U.S. organization, the Muslim Students Association (MSA). ISNA was also named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial for financing the terrorist group HAMAS. HAMAS, a U.S. designated terrorist organization, the jihadist arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, is dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

Rabbi Schiftan says that Islamists who support the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS, are not enemies, just “opponents.” So the Murfreesboro mosque hosting HAMAS supporters like CAIR executive director Nihad Awad and senior Muslim Brotherhood leader and unindicted co-conspirator Jamal Badawi, was not reason enough to keep Schiftan from hauling his congregation to a mosque love-fest. Nor is the fundamentalism of imams trained at Al Ahzar University, the preeminent teaching center of sharia law, enough to keep Schiftan from looking for every public opportunity to validate an ideology focused on destroying Israel.

Yoffe has called John Hagee, an extremist. Hagee is the leader of CUFI (Christians United for Israel), one of Israel’s largest allies and advocates in the U.S. Leftists like Yoffe, and his “Torah of Liberalism” puts support for gays and abortion above sincere and impactful advocacy for the Jewish ancestral homeland.

Abbie Wolf, the Nashville Jewish Federation’s director of the Community Relations Council, shares Yoffe’s pro-Muslim bias and Christianophobia. In advance of a Nashville visit by CUFI’s Executive Director, Wolf published a piece titled “Christian Zionism – do the Concerns Outweigh the Benefits?” She says that the only real value Christian Zionist lovers of Israel bring to the table, is their large voting bloc and their money.

Like Yoffe, Wolf denounces Christian lovers of Israel because they don’t equally love Islamists like HAMAS and other Muslim Brotherhood followers.

*********

Islamist ideology is obsessed with the destruction of Jews and Israel. Do political leftists who actively deny and abet the Islamist plan even deserve to call themselves Jews?
