Newsletter #127 – Zak Mohyuddin: Just Like Obama, Mohyuddin Wants to Bring “Change” to Coffee County

Democrat Zak Mohyuddin, wants Coffee County’s District 15 to elect him as their County Commissioner. He is challenging the fiscally conservative Republican incumbent Mark Kelly.

“Nice guy” Democrats and Democrat-like Republicans across the country, whether in local, county, state or federal races, are having to justify deficit spending and their inclination to spend through tax increases. Is this the “change” Coffee County wants?

If Mohyuddin is elected to the County Commission, it would be his second political position in Tennessee.

In November 2011, Mohyuddin was a founding member of the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) on which he continues to serve.

zak 2  Purpose of Muslim Advisory Councils in the U.S. Advisory councils with almost identical names and mission statements as AMAC have been established in several other states/cities.  The vision for these councils came from the American Muslims for Constructive Engagement, an alliance that included IIIT (International Institute of Islamic Thought), ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) and CAIR-Hamas – each proven by trial evidence to be linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and each named as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial.

Another alliance member, MAS (Muslim American Society), was identified in a different terrorism related case as “the overt arm” of the Muslim Brotherhood in America. MAS president Esam Omeish was forced to resign from a public office after being recorded “preaching jihad and praising suicide bombers.”

A stated focus for the Muslim advisory councils was to influence state legislators and encourage greater participation by Muslims in getting elected to local and state political offices.

The AMAC in Tennessee

After establishing itself in 2012, AMAC board members organized the Muslim American Center for Outreach (ACO). Four sitting AMAC board members also served as the officers and board for the ACO. They hired former TIRRC (TN Immigration and Refugee Rights Coalition) lobbyist Remziya Suleyman to run the ACO.

The AMAC and ACO say they are the Muslim voice in Tennessee speaking on behalf of all Tennessee’s Muslims. ACO’s Suleyman has been an active promoter for CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), an organization proven in court by “ample evidence” to be tied to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

When Memphis Imam Yasir Qadhi, helped AMAC launch the ACO, he spoke about “the importance of political engagement from a religious perspective.” This is the same imam who publicly says Christians are spiritually filthy, has advocated replacing U.S. democracy with Islamic rule, and says that “it is not my right or your right to legislate…” In Islam, only Allah has the authority to make laws.

AMAC in Coffee County

Along with Zak Mohyuddin, another AMAC founding and current member is Zak’s sister-in-law, Sabina Mohyuddin, who also lives in Coffee County. Sabina used to serve as the Youth Director at the Islamic Center of Nashville, a mosque whose warranty deed shows that it is owned by a Muslim Brotherhood front group.

Both Zak and Sabina spoke last year at an AMAC event in Manchester. This event also included guest speaker, U.S. Attorney Bill Killian who in newspaper interviews prior to the event, said he was going to talk about what people are allowed or not allowed to say about Muslims and Islam.

Zak’s opening remarks warned that “it is a simple fact of life that nothing stays the same.  Change is always happening.  American Muslims are part of the changing demographics of this country.” One demographic change brought to Tennessee includes the increase in female genital mutilation. As a result, Democrats Sen. Thelma Harper and Rep. Lois DeBerry (deceased) introduced and passed the “Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation Act of 1996.”

Despite being a crime in Tennessee since 1996, 21 cases of FGM in Tennessee were reported last year. Legislation passed last year now requires that healthcare providers report cases of FGM to law enforcement.

Sabina’s presentation in Manchester opened with referencing two Muslim Brotherhood organizations, the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), that she believes “help American Muslims stay true to their religious values while being uniquely American.”

A number of FCNA members have been arrested, deported and named as unindicted co-conspirators in connection with terrorist activities. ICNA’s 2010 Member’s Handbook revealed its pursuit of establishing Islam as the “sole basis of global society and governance.” ICNA also advocates dawa (ie, proselytizing) in U.S. public schools.

Memphis Imam Yasir Qadhi who helped AMAC when they first started, who was a speaker at ICNA’s 2012 conference told his audience that “the Quran ‘destroys American capitalism.’”

Other AMAC founding members who continue to work with Zak include Drost Kokoye (who sends out hateful anti-Israel and anti-Jew tweets) and Haneef Shabazz. According to property records, Shabazz owns property in the Jamaat ul-Fuqra (Islamville) compound in Stewart County, Tennessee.  Jamaat ul-Fuqra, also known as Muslims of America (MoA), has been described as a “Sunni militant group”.

AMAC’s chair Zulfat Suara and board member Sabina Mohyuddin among others, organized the Muslim Youth Network of TN (MYNT). Last summer, MYNT students were trained in political activism by CAIR (Hamas).

Newsletter #126 – The Islamic State and Sharia Are Always the End Goal

emerick book

“Allah says in this ayah [verse in the Quran] not to take non-Muslims as       protectors. (3:118,4:144) Only fellow Muslims you can rely on should have authority or power over you.  Because in the end, a non-Muslim who knows you, and who doesn’t accept Islam, is a rebel against Allah’s way of life and will harm you in the end or try to make you like him or her.” p.366

“Muslims know that Allah is the Supreme Being in the universe, therefore, His laws and commandments must form the basis for all human affairs.  If we didn’t follow Allah’s commandments, but then still called ourselves Muslims, we would be hypocrites like the Christians, Buddhists and Jews are today.” p.381

This textbook is shown in the 2013 promotional video* for Annoor Academy Islamic school in Knoxville and helps us understand how young Muslims in Tennessee are being taught to think about the Jews and Christians that live in their communities.

Muslim American Center for Outreach (ACO) Director, Remziya Suleyman who is regarded as the voice of Tennessee Muslims, is a fan of Annoor Academy.

Even though Suleyman routinely criticizes and fights against Tennessee’s Republican legislators and their initiatives, she is a fan of Republican Senate District 21 candidate, Mwafaq Aljabbary, aka Mwafaq Mohammed, the president of her Kurdish mosque.

Is Suleyman compromising her political principles to support of a Muslim Republican candidate or is she simply following Quranic doctrine? Could it be that Suleyman understands what Aljabbary aka Mwafaq Mohammed’s end goal is?

The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) has addressed the situation Aljabbary/Mohammed will confront should he actually be elected to the TN General Assembly. AMJA issues legal opinions and interpretations of Islamic law specifically for Muslims living in the U.S. These rulings are issued by highly respected sharia scholars. AMJA also hosts the annual Imams training conference; Memphis imam Yasir Qadhi, spoke at the conference in 2012.

On the question of “Is Islam expandable enough to tolerate political parties?” AMJA responds:

“Tenth: There is no problem in making alliances with moderate secular trends in the stage of pursuance of establishing the Islamic State, on condition that the subject of alliance is legal, and that it must not comprise any bindings that would harm the message of the religion, or that would tie the hands of the people who are involved in the Da`wa works and prevent them from spreading the truth and from marching towards the objective of establishing the Islamic State.”

Just the grown-up version of what Muslim students in Tennessee are taught:

“The way of life known as Islam is a complete code of life.  It was revealed by the Creator of the Universe as a guide for people to live their lives thereby. This being the case, Islam provides answers for individuals, families as well as societies and governments.  There is no separation of Masjid and state for the object of the Islamic state is the establishment of the Deen of Allah. …. The basis of the legal and political system is the Shari’ah of Allah.  Its main sources are the Qur’an and Sunnah.  People do not make the laws, Allah does.” (What Islam Is All About, p.381)

Is this where we want to take the State of Tennessee?

*Use of this textbook at the school was exposed last year which may account for the reason that it is not seen anywhere in the school’s 2014 promotional video.

Newsletter #125 – More Aljabbary/Mohammed Style Change For Tennessee Schools?

In 2011, after a nationwide search with the goal to “transform Tennessee’s education system,” Governor Haslam appointed Kevin Huffman as Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Education.

At the time, Huffman was the Executive Vice President of Public Affairs for Teach for America (TFA), an organization that “recruits top recent college graduates and young professionals to work in high-need classrooms.”

The Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN), whose warranty deed lists the same mailing address as the Muslim Brotherhood front group ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), is just one of the mosques in Tennessee state Senate District 21, the seat which Mwafaq Aljabbary aka Mwafaq Mohammed, is trying to win.

Aljabbary/Mohammed says – “[t]he population demography of Nashville is changing and this trend will continue for years to come.”

Helped along by Gov. Haslam and his “friends.”

Newsletter #124 – What Does Aljabbary/Mohammed’s “Change” Look Like?

Mwafaq Aljabbary, aka Mwafaq Mohammed, is running for Tennessee Senate District 21 in Davidson County (Nashville), the seat previously held by Democrat Douglas Henry for over 40 years.

Aljabbary aka Mohammed says that:

“My ethnicity is Kurd and I am an immigrant. The population demography of Nashville is changing and this trend will continue for years to come. More and more immigrants and minorities are selecting Nashville as their home. We chose to live in America for a reason and that is the Freedom and principals America represents.

It is not impossible to win this race. With your help and support we can have our voice in the government.”

Who do you think Aljabbary aka Mohammed is talking about when he says “we chose to live in America” and “we can have our voice in the government?”

Just as fellow Islamist and American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) member Zak Mohyuddin, running for County Commissioner in Coffee County, also tells voters that American Muslims are part of the changing demographics that he represents.

Jummah (Friday prayer) at MLK Academic Magnet School in Nashville

mlk jummah 2

This is the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at MLK Academic Magnet School. This MSA was organized by the Muslim Youth Network of TN (MYNT) after being trained last summer (and this video) in political activism by CAIR director Dawud Walid and Muslim American Center for Outreach (ACO) Director, Remziya Suleyman.  Suleyman is a member of the Kurdish mosque where Aljabbary aka Mohammed served as the president in 2010.

Young Tennessee Muslims are being shaped to remain separate and apart from their peers.  They are told that the only reason to interact with non-Muslim “friends” is to fulfill their religious duty of dawa (proselytizing Islam).  They are filled with supremacist messages about the dhimmi status of non-Muslims in Islamic states.

High school MSAs in other states report their success with their dawa and conversion of non-Muslims:

“Many students are signed out by parents to attend Jumu’ah at nearby Prince George’s County  Muslim Association (PGMA) or Dar-us-Salaam.

The students who get left behind are the ones who embrace Islam in high school unknown to their parents, many who are devout followers of other faiths.’A brother who was a taxi driver used to come and pick the convert brothers and take them to Friday prayer, but then the principal found out and she was very upset,’ says Hayat. (emphasis added)

At the last MSA meeting at Parkdale High, there were at least three students who raised their  hand when asked if they were the only Muslims in their families. Some of these students are as young as 14.”

Jummah at the Nashville school is the Muslim Friday prayer. These students are praying in accordance with Sharia law.

Who wants more of Aljabbary aka Mohammed’s change?

Newsletter #123 – Who’s the Bigger Phony?

Mwafaq Aljabbary (aka Mwafaq Mohammed), identifies himself as a Republican who is running for the District 21 Senate seat vacated by Democrat Douglas Henry who has retired but held that seat since 1971.

During a May candidate forum, Aljabbary revealed that he is running his campaign under his real name.

Does that mean that he legally changed his name from the one he used to purchase his home which is the address he used on his qualifying petition?

Which name does he uses for his job with the TN Department of Transportation?

Which name did he use to qualify to be a candidate?

Which name does he use on his voter ID? Does he have a voter ID card for each name?

When he runs for a GOP Senate position he says he is Mwafaq Aljabbarry.

When he criticizes the Speaker of the Senate, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey for his comments about concerns for radical Islam, he says he is Mwafaq Mohammed.

During the same May candidate forum, Mwafaq Aljabbary said that if elected, he would vote to repeal Common Core, Haslam’s cornerstone of education reform.

How will Mwafaq Mohammed vote on a Common Core repeal?

Any chance Gov. Haslam will get around to stumping for incumbent Republicans who also openly opposed Common Core during the last legislative session?
